Sorry to have troubled you. It's nice if you have a view about a suggestion to be able to make articulate points so everyone might understand your view. I'm sure you don't need to go through posts to know your own opinion.
I sincerely wanted to know your opinion as I honestly don't understand why we can turn lounge trinkets in to steamworks but not the other way. I really don't understand why it would be a problem.
Yep, seems like common sense to me too!
Support :D
I think this would be fair; I usually end up the other way around though (too many Lounge Trinkets...that I need because of pet treasures, dang it) so I probably wouldn't use it, but I don't see what's wrong with having this option.
Support. But instead of an item we have to buy to convert it, I'd rather there be a fill-in-the-blank box which lets you put either how many lounge/steamworks trinkets you want, and will take them from your currency bank if you have enough. That way users wouldn't have to save up just to convert their trinkets.
Support for this c: I also think the trinket bags should have their own separate tab in the shops to make things a little easier.

Support. I went looking for lounge trinket bags a few days ago so I could buy a bunch but, of course, they don't exist.
I would really like the option to buy lounge trinkets with steamwork ones because i don't plan out what i'm going to buy from where and when. Being able to switch back and forth my trinkets would keep me from having unused tokens for lounge and steamworks by the end of the masquerade :)
I fully support this idea even if I won't use it. Since the ratio for buying the steamworks trinket from the lounge trinkets is 2:1 maybe the denominations you can get are the same. 50 steamwork gets you 100 lounge, 100 gets you 200, and then 250 gets you 500 just to keep the ratio even.
I -could- understand a position against it, but due to the fact that it already converts one way (since 2011 mind you) it's 2016 and it might as well go back the other way in an equal amount.
I approve of this idea. There's a lot of stuff in the Libertine Lounge I could totally afford through Steamworks Trinkets but not in Libertine ones. o.o;
Even though this thread is a year old I am told it is still active so hoping to get renewed support for this idea.
- sorry for the extra pingage but support is always nice ;)
But if we can turn lounge trinkets in to steamworks trinkets then it's already doing those things so why not have it the other way too.
Support. We can buy steamworks trinkets with lounge, I don't see why we can't do it the other way around.
Full support. The currencies should be able to be transferred both ways.
Count me in for this idea!

I don't agree with the Lounge to Steamworks conversion either.
The reason this conversion was created years ago, was because many users complained that Lounge Trinkets were worth nothing sP-wise and that they felt deeply cheated when they got them (randomly!) from dances. There was no Gourmand Achievement at the time, masks were mostly leftover Mardi Gras masks and very expensive to get, the total number of Trinkets spontaneously generated per dance was less, and most Lounge foods were really cheap in terms of total Trinkets needed.
Making a back conversion will make LT worth even less than they were before since nobody need buy them. Better to remove all conversion instead.
- fair enough. Understanding that you don't like either conversion makes it easier to understand your point of view.
I'm not swayed from wanting a lounge trinket bag. I'm not really bothered by the sP value of the trinkets I just want to be able to get the foods with out having to buy them or trinkets or try to find people who will trade with me.
we could all be taxi dancers, and turn in our dance cards for sP at the end of the night and Subeta could price everything in sP. But this would not be part of a game of dancing in a revolutionary ball IMO.
I lived in Pasadena for awhile, and the rules for the Rose Queen and the Rose Parade are VERY quaint. Maybe it is fun to imagine that the Atebus Masquerade Committee and Ladies Ikumorodeekanox Gardening Club has financial or social interest in the commissary? If you attempt to convert trinkets in your own carpet bags they will oh-so-snobbily cut you?
