There is already a board about the mask error here. I've posted on there the issue - we're watiing for the cache to update the mask list. I pushed a change to let all masks count instead of just specific ones. If it doesn't work in 10~ minutes, then let us know! :)

It was just a joke! :) I meant to grab a gif with the post (from Hocus Pocus where the one sanderson sister was like DANCE FOOLS, DANCE UNTIL YOU DIE) but I was too busy shoving chips and queso in my face :X

This wasn't something that could be fixed before the event, because it was a user suggestion to make all masks work rather than just specific ones designed for the event. I don't have control over how fast the cache catches up to a thing like that. :)

Grace recently posted on the 502/504 P&B thread that she's working on a major recode of a site function. We've also posted a bit on FB/twitter. We don't want to do so many updates of "hey I think x is the problem" in case it's not; like we don't want to get anyone's hopes up! We think the errors are due to bottlenecking at some points of our site. Grace pushed a change last night to how autopricer works that seemed to help some. She's going to do a news post when we're closer to when we'll push that function change. Grace runs a script whenever 504s/502s pop up that sort of restarts the servers? I've set up my computer to be able to run the script, so I'm able to start running it as well! Like I got a call from a staff member around 8am today to get on to run the script, haha. It helps bring the site back up pretty quickly, but it won't help as much as fixing the code of actual areas on site that are an issue.
