pitty its xp points :( i would have prefered that we got the burned version of what we created :) that is also a food item (good for the gourmand achievement ) and not a waste of sp that way :)

in a few weeks most items will have normal prices again so its just waiting a bit longer to create them :)

and yes the measuring bamboo spoons or some baking forms or a cookie baking plate to put the dough on :)

I'm really loving this new baking idea, but holy hell the unavailability of so many items is such a turn-off! It's beyond frustrating trying to find the items and then seeing how greedy users have grabbed so many and put them in their shops for laughable prices. Staff have been so thoughtful in putting items in the DC but maybe they could also stock a lot of them in the Food Market as well? We don't need everything for free, but being able to buy them at a fair market price is essential to us. I'm trying to gather the ingredients for the 4th set of Maple Cookies and I'm getting no where! I've been missing 6 of the 10 items for about 6 hours. I'm hoping this will be the next thing you tweak.

Yes, it is hard to even get started with how high the ingredients got jack up to! sigh one more thing to wait for 💋

Ahhh gotcha! I've only gotten to do it once (like a lot of folks) because of the prices atm so I haven't gotten a chance to burn anything yet! :)

Thanks tammy but for me it's too late. I've spent a fortune and way too much time for nothing on something I thought would be fun. I'm done with it.

I don't agree with this new change, it's not real world baking we're doing here, it's a game. There are quite a few ways that a recipe could be considered a failure in RL, but "burned" is the only word being used here. The regular prices of pretty much all of these ingredients are miniscule compared to daily quest income. Unlike in RL where if you burn something your pan and oven and stove etc. may become permanently unusable and the product totally inedible, the consequence here is just loss of ingredients. Not a big deal.

People are complaining that they get no xp from burning, but this is only consequential because everyone wants to bake everything all the time right NOW. Because of instant gratification requests, the prices of these things have gone through the roof. If you approach RL baking in this manner, you'd be considered childish and a poor cook and chances are you would NOT learn anything.

Just like all new things, kinks need to be worked out. Prices are way too high in user shops for the ingredients for the recipes right now and personally I've only been able to make maple cookies once. So for now I'll stock up on items until kinks are worked out.
