: It was kind of like reading a gothic horror story, but I was compelled to read your tale and I am impressed with how you stuck to it. You should win a medal or something. Now I have to take my cough medicine and try to get some sleep...if I can without nightmares.

LOL Mama Bear ...and hip, hip hooray for the Queen of Hearts who burnt some tarts, but had plenty of Bear friends to eat them! ❤ 🐻
: Good work at the Bakery! :D I haven't bothered starting yet... :O
After baking a few spare Pink Bunny Twist Breads I slacked off learning how to be a great baker like Fantine. So when the new goodies came out I was still crawling to the half-way mark on level 9. It took me from then until this morning to finish off level 9, make my way thru level 10 and hit level 11. And of course I was constantly distracted and didn't record a thing about any of them.
If I understand how cakes, pies and breads actually work (no guarantees) I decided to keep track using the time it takes to bake them to come up with their % (just as a way of providing myself some cheap entertainment of course)
Fig and Cardamom Tea Cake 45 min 9% to 12% (3 pts) 12% to 15% (3 pts)
Spinach Egg Pie 1 hour 15% to 19% (4 pts) 19% to 19% (burrrn) 19% to 23% (4 pts)
Pink Bunny Twist Bread 1 hour 23% to ??%
Gonna do some more testing but what I'm seeing so far is when you're successful your level increases at 1% per 15 minutes - if that's true level 12 could be 1% per 20 min, then maybe 1% per 25 minutes for level 13.. by the time bakers hit level 15 it's going to be a nightmare to get anywhere xD!!

wow twice to level 9 ?? youre crazy women !!!!! :):):)
i finaly reached level 2 most always burn :( such a waiste of items!!
I know, right!? Baking with Fantine costs millions, millions and more millions! I'm not exactly sure why I do it.. but no matter how stupid the items in the recipe are priced I'll still try to make it - more often than not burn it - and try it again xD

i finaly reached level 3 but now that we can buy easier flour and butter i wish they would do something about the vanilla extract too :( it stays ridiculous expensive and i tried a whole week to restock one :( without luck off course !!!!
maybe if we may use the Whole Vanilla Beans too ( after all the extract is made of it ;):) it would make it easier to try to finish stuff and then i wouldnt mind if sometimes something burns!!!
but now .............
The Mystery Box is doing the Food Market today!

Here's a list of some of the prices I found for various baking items:
Baking Items
Vanilla Extract is 4,236 sP, Baking Powder is 5,822 sP, Rum Extract is 5,244 sP, Cocoa Powder is 3,688 sP

FWIW I've been Vending for Achievement by using Celebration Gift. Celebration Gift does food and I've been getting a lot of baking items. Crusty has eaten all the sands and some of the honeys flours and baking powder and yeast and pink decorating frostings. I have no idea if they're cost effective, but if you're vending anyways it seems that most of these items are low enough rarity to Vend.
Baking Powder - 2911 - 5822 - 8733 - 11644 Vanilla Extract - 2118 - 4236 - 6354 - 8472 Salt / White Eggs - 2272 - 4548 - 6822
Some more numbers for y'all
[edit] You've purchased a Peach for 4,700sP!
Back to the Box
It's Mystery Box again today for any bakers :)

thank you! I spent MILLIONS and then Fantine's oven burnt it! bah!
[edit]
I always try to do the 'cheaper' recipes first, at the start of the level. My understanding is the more progress towards your level the less likely you are to burn the items
(I could be wrong, but that's what I understand)

I do them so infrequently, no wonder I am burning them. :P I can't stomach spending so much on a quest. I am not getting those items, should I wait for specific numbers at the Mystery Box?
Personally, I think there are so many items worth getting (Baking Soda/Powder, Vanilla extract, Peach, butters, salts, the new honeys, the new sugared flowers, sanding sugars, etc.), I just buy everything. I mindlessly click, but theres mushrooms for 47k or something that I wouldn't buy, that's the only thing that's a big loss. Everything else I think if you AP and sell you'd at least break even I think?
[edit]Price: 48,432 This is the one you DON'T want to buy
