Yup, breaks are definitely important. One of my teachers found that if you're studying, take a nap for under 3 hours and you'll retain the information better, at least according to some studies.

That's new information to me. I might have to try that for the next test . I only remember study for 20 mins, take a break, and repeat that.

The reason I made so much progress there was because I bought tons of stuff to get all the layer achievements :) Achievements = motivation to get stuffs done.

Yeah, it might be helpful. I don't know if I tried it though, since I didn't really study for regular tests, just exams. I just have a good memory in class, but for exams I still make flashcards, test myself, look over previous tests, etc. In the semester I would also write down important things from each chapter assigned in a notebook, and read it all over again. That, more than anything, kept things fresh in my mind for each class and topic, so that's why I never bothered too much with regular tests, but exams are cumulative, so yeah...

Congratulations! One billion is a huge achievement in my mind ^_^ If I keep going the way I am (7+ mil a day) I should actually hit that number too, but just in case, I set the goal to 750.
