I had 6 active layers. One expired after I created the avatar and when I went to purchase it again it says it worked and takes my sp, but if I load the page it goes back to saying I only have 5. I have tried this probably ten times on different days, it isn't updating. It isn't hesitating to take my sp with each purchase that doesn't actually stick.

I believe you can only have 6 layers if you have a gold account. It takes your sP to extend the time of one the layers you have.

That would be a glitch I think. The purchases page says this: "You can purchase more layers here. Choose the layer, and click the 'do it' button. You can only have 3 extra per layer, though, and they last for 6 months." That would be 5 max for a non-GA.

Yeah I think at least the layers page needs to be more clear. It was especially confusing because I had six slots before just fine, was able to add six items to the layer without an error, save avatar without an error about the saved avatar not able to use all the items I had on, and what loads when I reopen the wardrobe displays all six items on. Especially with cache being so slow updating lately (even a hard refresh doesn't do it for me) it's pretty confusing. Heck it's possible that it never actually saved it how I thought because I logged off before the cache fixed it. So there were a lot of factors that made this just sorta confusing for a casual player.

I do have a question, if I use an OLL will that be giving me a sixth slot in the same way a gold account would? because I think I used one before I knew you bought slots from the new wardrobe and maybe that OLL finally expired and why it no longer allowed six. Which if so, could also benefit from being mentioned on the purchases/slots page.

No. But it wasn't ever a glitch I guess just unclear wording and me being dumb. :P
