I popped on about four years ago, made a new pet, and then completely forgot to ever come back! I have no idea as to what's going on around here. A lot of things are similar but there's so much new content. I'm currently sorting through years and years of ancient inventory. Anyway, I'm seeing some sickness (?) overcome everyone's avatars... I think? I can't figure it out. I'm glad to be back and exploring again!

wow. and i thought i was bad, what with being on hiatus for a little more than half of the time that i've been here. cx the weird disease thing is a part of an event! it's called either survival or pandemic. check out this page to see some stuff about the various holidays, or if you just wanna see survival, it's the one with the zombie. c: actually just check out the subetapedia in general, there's allll sorts of stuff in it. the general link is under the 'subeta' tab of the top bar with the clock and all that, third from the bottom! survival is also what the kiss/bite links under everyone's avatars on the forums are about, and the lipstick marks on some people's faces! you kiss people to get candy hearts, which are a form of currency that can be used in l'amour parlor. (we actually have an overwhelming amount of currencies now - to check them all out, click on the vault page, which you can also get to by clicking on the amount of sP you have on hand in the sidebar, or also through the 'personal' tab, hover over 'vault', and then click on 'currencies') biting is how zombies spread their diseases! (although it's a little impolite to just bite people all willy-nilly; there's some threads on the survival forums set up asking for specific ones) few other tips and stuff, cause i have no idea what you know/don't know (i've only been here for like 4.5 yrs at all, idk what was happening back then aha): you can "ping" people by putting an @ in front of their username (like i pinged you at the beginning of this, my ping is , same way with everyone else) or also on the little blueish bar right above your post, there's a megaphone icon (farthest to the left on the right side of the bar) that you can click and it'll automatically enter their name into the text box where you're writing your post. pinging will send them a sidebar event with a link to the specific post, which is handy. you should also grab the free gift, i believe it's a plushie rn! it gets updated from time to time with all kindsa stuff, some based on subeta events and others on stuff that's going on irl, but they're always pretty cool. subetalodge is also a really good place to check out, especially if you want to get into collecting anything (plushies, beanbags, clothes, foods fed/books read to a pet, stickers, trading cards, there's more but i can't remember them off the top of my head) or even just to use as like a subeta search engine - it's basically a huge item database that's also functionally organized into a bunch of lists, and it's really helpful!
