Yeah it must have been recently after the event, because it was in 2012, and I was doing some digging to try and find out when they broke up and while I couldn't find that, I did see that in Fireside 2012 is when Fantine did the pumpkin donations for her pies. And she wasn't zombie-fied for that little event, so I guess it was not a long relationship. :c

I'm not sure how they would do it with the picking sides again either, because I feel like people who picked Ecks last time might not be so inclined to join her again since it turned out she was just using them and lying and all that.

That's true, she seemed to be biding her time and waiting for Skittes to fail. But like I mentioned above, I'm not sure how people would feel about supporting her again since it turned out she wasn't being completely honest about her intentions.

See, people are hungry for plots, you have proven this! I joined in 2011 so probably had no idea what I was doing during the first plots I hit. XD Still fun, though. And yeah, we need more back stories... NPCs are unretired! Even if we don't call up the old plot - surely there could be a rockfall in the Underground to reveal new things and possibilities!

Yeah, I want to say it was in some...news comment or something? I remember feeling disappointed about the breakup, but thinking it made sense she'd go back to her bakery so she could bake instead of dripping zombie frosting over everything. Man, 2012 does not seem that long ago somehow.

I agree, they'd have to be a bit creative about how to introduce the sides again. Maybe the wrestlers have decided to take over and now we're suddenly all on Ecks's side legitimately. Although rule by wrestlers sounds kind of fun too.

I think we prove it every week when we beg the powers that be for plots in Suggestions! I wish they'd hire (or pay in favors) a writer or two so we can have some plots for every event, I'd be so happy.

I joined literally at the start of Pandemic in 2012, I had NO idea what was going on but it was so incredibly fun. It's one of the reasons I fell in love with the site. sighs happily

Yeah that's true, it was kind of clever and I didn't see it coming! But if they were to bring it back, they could tie that into the story somehow, like maybe she lost some supporters after her plan turned out to be a hoax (not like user supporters, but just generic Underground citizens).

They could have us try to choose sides again, but then it might just feel like too much of the same thing. I don't really know, but I'd love to have more of that story while still having things to do as part of an event.

It seems like a long time ago but also not all at once. The past 4 or 5 years have all kind of blurred together for me. D:

The thing with opinions is that there can be two that exist at once and both could work equally as well if they were put into place. People don't really realize that. People think you're wrong I'm right.

Hello :) Monday was just too busy for my liking. We have a lot of snow...booo! Did start a lot later we have had some but today is the first real snowfall when you have to shovel. Hoping for a snow day this week. Made a yummy pot of chili.

I think it would be great if they could just hire some writers part time. It would be a great gig since you can write from home. I'm sure there are some great freelance writers on here that would jump at the chance to write plots and explore more of the subeta lore (especially with some kind of compensation).

Now there's an idea. The Underground is a pretty untapped area in terms of lore. There's a lot that could have happened down there in the past 7 years.

Yeah, I'd love to see some more explorable areas too. Even though the current setup is a bit confusing to work your way through. I'm still looking forward to seeing what they've got planned for this year!
