battling is all I do besides chat. so I'm always hoping for more challengers. none are that tough for me now.

Case in point, I really hope we get - if not an actual Pandemic plot this year - that we get dynamic skins or viruses. That one year that we got nothing I was so in withdrawal I made my own "progress your av into a zombie!" project thread.

Does anyone know when the pandemic will begin to happen? I know it is best guess right now but I just can't wait, I'm so excited! lol

Wasn't there one year where they did like temporary skins or something? Like you drank a potion that made you sick or something and then your HA changed for like a week? I don't remember exactly.

Well it usually starts close to Valentine's Day, so I'd probably guess sometime this weekend. Maybe either Friday or next Monday? But I can't say for sure.

I've been enjoying the updates to the NPC info, so hoping for more depth with plots too.

Yes, I think it was two years ago? I hoarded a bunch of the vials from that. It was a departure and I enjoyed it, although last year when we got to keep the skins was full of extra win.

I didn't want the shark skin at the time but I may have to reconsider that this year.

OMG it was actually so much fun! About six or seven people joined in and made incremental changes to their avatar from four to seven times and it was really awesome to see everyone's creativity in zombifying themselves! One person even went from zombie backwards to human. It was a huge blast. xD

You know, what ever happened with Ecks? I have a hard time believing that everything's all copacetic and hunky dory down there still. I mean, they issued that note stating "we have come to an agreement" but honestly, does anyone believe for a minute that Ecks is satisfied with co-leading anything? Hmph.

Yeah I love that we can keep the skins now! And I'm not sure about how I would use the shark skin either, but I still kind of want it now anyway. xD

And I feel the same regarding the whole Ecks thing. I sided with Skitters, but I'd love to see a continuation of that story line at some point!

As it happens I am still miffed we could get only one of two achievements depending on which side we sided with on that one. It irks my perfectionism. xD I know, right? It just feels like there HAS to be all these simmering tensions just roiling under the surface...besides, if Skitters is paying all that attention to his store and his girlfriend, he can't be paying all that much attention to governing, right? There has to be conflict in there somewhere.

Me too, but I know right! It just feels so unfinished, that plot was so nicely thought out and then just OKAY WE ARE STOPPING THERE. Wait. What? Yeah, in my mind, there's a whole other Zombie Civil War plot going on.

If there does end up being a continuation of that or something this year, I probably need to go back and read through the plot from the old one. It was all the way back in 2012, so four years ago. I remember some of it but not everything.

I definitely think they would be able to bring it back though at some point, if not this year then maybe next. We just have to wait and see what's in store... I wish the weekend could come faster! D:

P.S. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in one of the later years that Skitters and Fantine are no longer together, but I don't remember when that was announced.

I'd like to think I think my opinions through and I reason them out well. I try to look at things from all sides if possible.

I was an Ecks supporter, mostly so I could stir shit up. If there is a continuation, I'm sure there will be a recap in the news to explain why tensions are running high again. It would be really fun to have that come back because it didn't really feel finished. You can read up on the plot here if you want a refresher.

I'm fully aware that if it came to picking sides again, Ecks would probably lose, but it would be fun to back her side, especially since she wasn't actually trying to spread poison.

Yeah, they would probably have to do some kind of on-site explanation for people who weren't around during that time, since it was a while ago. Thanks for the link! I'll read through it when I've got time later.

But I agree, I remember all of the buildup and then it just sort of... ended. Like you're right, it didn't really feel finished or it felt like they could have done more with it. There's got to still be some tension between supporters from both sides, so it shouldn't be too hard to come up with an excuse to bring those characters back in a new event.

If they continue the plot I hope they do a "last episode, this happened!" recap because I don't remember the details either except for the Mucha Luchadors or whoever those guys were.

I heard that, too, and I think it might have been in some brief plot aside at the very end or something that they just couldn't make it work? Sad if true, because they were more than a little adorable.

I was actually thinking about that recently. It ended with Ecks basically saying the ball is in Skitters' court now, but she was clearly looking to be the sole leader of the Zombies/Undead. It could be interesting to see how the politics plays out down there.

I think Fantine and Skitters parted as friends. Anyway, although I don't think the ends totally justify the means, I loved the way Ecks basically used us to further her cause in a way that actually helped Bubbles (the guy who makes the drinks or something). I think they'd do userbase vs userbase since there's two different sides to the story, plus for a plot like that it would be kind of fun depending on how they did it. I doubt they'll have a plot this year since the snowman event just wrapped up, but it would be a nice surprise.
