How is everyone doing? I just hit 5k finally. 😵 I think my vault is pretty tapped out but I did find a few final big stacks of stuff in there to donate.

I was hoping to have 5k by today, but I'm pretty content with my 3535.5~ Might try for 4k! Glad to have such an awesome team -- you guys rock! <3

I changed my mind about donating as much as I can, and I've just been selling what I have left. I had no problems when it was all still cheap, but most items are now priced between 20-40k sp, and it seems a waste to donate them when we're not in direct competition with another team. I still donated most of my snowballs; since I bought them, I might as well use them. I broke past the 20k point, at least. All in all, I've been having a nice relaxing day pricing things up and watching the other teams bicker on the feedback thread.

Hi Team Sibling, member of Team Nature here! I just wanted to say, as we come to our final hours of the competition, that I really love how nice you all have been. I misclicked a few days ago and ended up in here and I was super excited to see all the new faces...until I realized I was in the wrong chat LOL But I felt such a positive vibe coming from every one of you and just the general feeling of togetherness was really awesome. You guys have shown really good sportsmanship about everything, and have done an amazing amount of work for a small group. Your snowman is also the absolute cutest!

Oh yes. Build a snowman event Various disputes about glitch abuses, runner-up prizes, trophies, and general complaints. You wouldn't think it was just a nice little competitive event for a few prizes and bragging rights.

Wow that's sad. I agree if people were abusing a glitch that's not right or fair, but the others complaining how their team isn't winning or that they want some participation prize? Talk about bitter. This is a pet/avatar site, not the freaking Oscars. Some people will find any reason to complain and it makes everything less fun. 😕

The thing with the glitch is that staff okayed it; no rule breaking there, apparently. And really, no harm was done. All items were paid for and removed from the system again later. Its difficult to know whether people are annoyed because of the rule bending, or because they just didn't know about it at the time. Really, if Stick Together hadn't pulled ahead, this probably wouldn't be an issue.

But this is Subeta. Every event apparently must be picked apart to find a fault or injustice somewhere.

I'm wondering what the heck the "glitch" was? Was it for the Mystery Box? All I can think of was MB being the Bake Shop?

Oic. I had no clue there even was a glitch so I just commented based on what people on the first couple pages were saying. If staff okays it what can you do? Just move on. All the complaining is only taking away time you could be spending donating stuff to the cause lol. Yea Subeta is bawww central.

Some users found that if you clicked the "Buy???" button on the Mystery Box very quickly before the page reloaded, you could buy multiples of one item in a very short amount of time, which meant that they could donate far more items. I had no idea about it until the next day, and as far as glitches go, it's not that bad. Everything was paid for, and the outcome was a minor advantage in an event which was a thinly veiled sp and item sink.

Well that's dumb to get upset over. If it's paid for, it's paid for -- the event was probably made to be an sP sink anyways.

This is the first event where I like be last place, haha! Plus, we have an awesome team that supports each other~ <3

Ohhhhh. Now I understand. They were making it sound like the other team got a huge advantage over them doing that. In reality it's like the most minor of advantages. Also it doesn't sound like a glitch to me.

I remember seeing something in the Admin Posts about it being used to stock up on tons of boosters really easy and it suddenly became a problem when I guess it wouldn't have been one otherwise. I mean, you're still paying for it but it makes the Mystery Box tons easier. It's about as abusive as using auto-refreshers. Which isn't a whole lot but spoils the fun a bit. I also got the feeling reading the response that it would probably be quite a bit of work to sort through whatever logs and find out who did what and what the numbers were actually supposed to be, and that was probably why it was let go so easy.

I don't necessarily think it was the only reason the team pulled ahead though. Unless they abused it to to get literally thousands of each item at a time I can't imagine them keeping the scores so close on that alone. It's a blah issue for me though. Glad our team managed to stay out of drama this year. Not sure if I want to read through the feedback forum or not.

Since I want to make this new pet a Neela I'll have to buy some credits, and I thought that I would use whatever was left over to buy you guys (at least everyone in the topic/forum group, because I can't know you're there if you never post) Neela plushies/beanbags but at 114 posters that would've been almost $30 of credits. So that won't happen because I'm poor. But even though I don't need to say it again, I will, you guys have been great. Maybe next event we can have an intra-team contest/giveaway thing. I recall having one for the snowball fight, though I didn't participate or donate.

Once my next cheer comes up I'll be at 13,100 and I think that's a good place to stop. It's a solid number.

Omg our snow sculpture is the most elegant of all ❤ The ribbons! And I've been having a lot of fun with this event. Donating things may get tedious but it was still an enjoyable little event :)
