Edit: By the way I think we can start hoarding items from the shops on the news for the signups.

It was a really hard choice between Blake and Rumi, my two favourite NPCs, but TEAM STICK TOGETHER ALL THE WAY!

Rosie the Riveter is a cool idea! I think it'd also be fun to incorporate a minion in somehow. Maybe have the snowman holding a protest poster/rebellious statement of some sort (stickersss) Oh and I love flannel outdoorsy wear, yes to whoever said that. :3

Hmmmm. How about some sort of fungus monster? Like maybe Phungis, Deadly Bella, or Nependeathicus? Rumi seemed to enjoy the bleeding tooth fungus, so maybe she could do the finer details on something like that while Wes packs on the snow!

Kinda off topic but do we have any supplies? I've been stocking up on items from the shops listed. The items are being sold quickly.

Maybe we should divide the labor up? Like everyone buys snowballs but we divide ourselves into groups that covers a certain shop's items. I'm currently working on Get Mugged items and from the Avalanche Emporium. Maybe we can make side shops that contain only items that are from the shops listed so we don't have to search through our vaults for them on Monday?

By the way, is this the first year they are doing this? Do we just donate items from the shops listed or is it more like a quest?

this is the first year they've done this kind of event But splitting up the shops into groups of people to cover them might be a good plan. Anyone else on board with this?

I'll definitely be on board with splitting up although I'm not the greatest at rsing. I'm sure we can use items from those shops that we have in our vaults so hopefully I'll find some things there.

I like the idea of building a self-sufficient solar powered bunker that will help Subetans get 'off the grid.'

I have friends who think that Rumi would never agree to a Rosie the Riveter because she represented women who were exploited by the fact that the male dominated military industrial complex abandoned the homeland leaving the women behind to do all the menial labor and dangerous tasks. I think Rumi would like to demonstrate her self-sufficiency from male dominance.

After all, the name of Rumi's shop is "Stick It To The MAN."

I have been cleaning out the shops in the early morning hours and have a bunch of stuffs and thingies. Go Team Stick Together.

We should do an Oatmeal snowman (snowgoat?)! Wesley is from Veta and Oatmeal is very outdoorsy. And I'm sure Rumi appreciates being able to let goat of some her angst with Oatmeal. <3

Splitting up shops sounds like a fantastic idea! I've just been hoarding from quests because we don't know what shops are valid right now, but I'll be trying to restock when the competition starts for real.

Clicking the links on the news page brings us to the eligible shops, or at least that's what I think. The links are to the Avalanche Emporium, The Bake Stop, Get Mugged! and Icy Goods. The links are in the post about the event in the third paragraph. If you click on the words snow, food, drink and warm clothes the hyperlinks lead to those shops.
