It was my first anime/manga too! I remember coming home from school, so excited to watch it on Toonami. Thooose were the times. And when I got older I watched the subbed, which made me love it all the more. c: I definitely contribute SM to my discovering the whole anime scene, too. Oh, I'll have to check out the ping groups, then! Ooh, I see. Eeek, yes, I can definitely see how the clusters might be bothersome. Things like that can make me uncomfortable as well. But yes, I still become awestruck by all the great detail artists on here put into items, CW or not. ❤️

Wow, nice! I have a lot of respect for anyone who is pre-med, pre-vet, or nursing. :) Those seem to be some of the toughest majors, at least at my school. Not that environmental science is easy, but still.

Same here. I haven't been active much at all on the forums. It's mainly because I'm just anti-social like that but I also don't often find discussions that I'm particularly interested in. That, or I feel weird jumping into the middle of a conversation. I almost feel like I'm interrupting or something xD But, like you, I saw that this board was made I decided I should be active in it. At least having joined the same team gives us all some common ground :D

Getting a bit tired, lol. It's so funny talking to people in different time zones. My first reaction was "lol wait but the competition didn't even start until today." (Technically yesterday now but I haven't gone to bed and woken up so I still consider it to be today :P) You're talking about heading off to work in a few hours and I'm thinking of going to bed relatively soon xD

I'm pretty shy in real life but not as much online. It's definitely more just being anti-social :P Which may have a lot to do with the fact that I'm also very introverted in real life. That said, it is fun to get to know people on the forums now and then instead of just lurk around all the time xDD

That too. I enjoy lurking around just to see what people are talking about but I don't usually have much to actually add myself. (And even if I have thoughts about something I don't often say them for the various reasons I mentioned before.).

Taking advantage of my time zone to stockpile a heap of cakes while it's reasonably quiet.

I wonder how well we'll be able to keep track of each team's progress? Hoping it's done in a way that doesn't cause loads of drama like the snowball fight.

i wasn't around for the snowball fight, how were scores kept then? o:

the mere fact we could see the number of people on each team, the total snowballs thrown for each team, and average per person caused an insane descent into infighting on the losing team, with loads of complaining about 'freeloaders' who weren't up to the team average, insinuations the scoring system was fixed or broken, etc. It got ugly.

I'm not sure what Subeta can do to stop that happening again to be honest, except not show scores - but I'm not sure that would be any better, because it won't be much fun pouring items into a black hole with no idea if the team's got a hope of winning.
