Okay well you realize 1) they would have to check who all was using it (which was more than just team hot dad btw) and 2) how are they even gonna remedy that? everyone gets disqualified? They check logs and remove items that were "possibly" mass bought? Like you can mass buy from user shops. Honestly that would just make this a hot mess. You want to catch up, go sink your funds into 20k items like we're doing rn. And maybe decrease your salt intake, that's bad for your heart.

Hello! Welcome to the thread. And to answer your question - by abusing a glitch in mystery box on Wednesday that allowed multiple items to be bought when clicking the buy button very quickly.

Apparently, it's perfectly fine to abuse glitches during events, but not any other time as said by staff.

No one is saying that our team didn't use it, but obviously some people used it more and for way longer than anyone else.

it's possible to be upset at something without knowing how to fix it and thinking something should have been handled differently without knowing how exactly it should have been handled. it honestly should have never been allowed to happen and should have worked as it is supposed to, but saying "oh it's not a glitch but we're going to fix it so it won't ever happen again" isn't really admitting to their faults.

If they can spends days going through logs to fix Luminaire trees, then they could do it for this event. Mass buying from user shops likely gets recorded differently as the sp has to go to the shop owner. They could have also changed the shop that mystery box was on or worked on patching the glitch that day.

please stop trying to stir things up. I hate to even get involved but this is not what sportsmanship is like, please stop.

I'd assume the logs would also list where the item came from, so if they see "Keith bought 52 Green Erasers from the magic Box at 11:55" that should be pretty obvious that something's up.

I'm more annoyed at the staff's response than anything else. :(

REAL TALK NOT BEING RUDE plz don't assume we got ahead just mass buying from MB like people have been working their asses off an sinking money into buy jacked-up price items for this. Our teams were super close even before this happened, so I don't know why suddenly, because we got a little ahead, that it's an issue, when EVERY TEAM used the MB mass buy.

It's coming off salty and some of your members are being rude af. I have no problem with other people coming onto our thread to chat. Like it's fun. But when they come on like "you abused a glitch" it needs to stop. ESP when you guys did to.

Don't get on my team members for being rude when you're the one who came in here uninvited to start shit. Our complaining has been mainly just venting frustration, I'm pretty sure most of us don't really expect anything to be done about this. The subject can be dropped.

what is going on in here? Really everyone? This is supposed to be a TEAM BUILDING competition, not let's all blame fingers and get in each other's faces competition. This is a chance for us to talk and make friends like every other event. Both teams are wrong at this point. Yeah it wasn't fair that something like this happened and is now fixed. No you should not insult other players or be rude. It happened. It's over. Done. Work hard and win those points back, that makes the bigger statement. Now stop being heated toward any other team that isn't your own and try to have some fun!

1. You pinged the wrong person. 2. The majority of our team found out about this glitch during the last hour of MB. Obviously if every other team is abusing it, then we should be allowed to as well.3. I haven't seen any of our members are not going into your team's thread and verbal abusing members of your teams. If you don't like it, then what makes you think doing it back to us will fix anything?

I haven't been over to your thread and had no clue that was going on. Sorry if it's happening, apperently there are team mates on all sides that are getting too heated in the competition.

Maybe it's best if all the teams just forgive and move on. It's not helping the numbers at all, which is what's causing all these spats.
