That's always tough. You could try doing a WL search and see if what you're selling shows up on a lot of WLs. That at least, could maybe indicate how much demand there is. Otherwise, I would simply try to get my money back out of them.

I dk how it is where you are, but it is HOT here. I hate heat. Give me cold any day. The Jaws of Hakkon have nothing on me. lol

Hot as the flames of Hell. Hades wouldn't even want to be here right now, it is so hot. I don't mind the hot so much, it is the humidity I'm not a fan of. :( Dry heat any day, I'm used to that from when I lived in Tx. I hope you cool off soon!! We are gonna have rain the next few days here so hopefully that will help.

Well, rain will bring the temps down, but not the humidity. :( I don't mind humid if it is cool enough. But, yeah -- sticky heat is the worst. In all honesty though, I'm not a fan of dry heat either. If you're cold, you can put on a sweater or just add layers until you're warm. When you're hot - well, there's only so far you can go. ;)

I'm not a "layers" kind of girl. I can't move when I'm all layered up. I used to walk around outside in 100+ degree weather in Tx so that doesn't bug me all too much. I'm also more of a "tank top and shorts" kind of girl so sweaters and I don't get along all too well. Too much fabric all wrapped around me.

I'm hoping this rain won't be storms (they scare the biscuits out of me) and just some nice ice cold rains. We def. need it.

Heat fuels storms, so... just another reason to keep to cooler climes. lol

I melt when the temp hits 80 -- anything hotter and I'm simply useless. If I'm walking around outside, please keep the temps to 70 or less. I'll put a sweater on when it drops to 50. :)

My Dragon Age stickers arrived today ovo I'm so excited. I found a place for one of them but the other four are gonna be tough, I'm very picky about where I put stickers.

It's super hot here too, and our house doesn't have AC, so we've got all the fans going. My one cat is acting like he's dying, but he's so dramatic, hehe. X3

Been a while since anyone posted here ~ what's everyone up to?

I finally got back to an old file of F/dwarf/stabby rogue romancing the Bull. I wanna see what happens in Trespasser -- this will be my 3rd play through. The first two times I had different things happen, so I'm anxious to see which way the wind blows on this set of circumstances.

I'm in between apartments right now (and jobs). But I'm moving into my new place next week. <3 And I got a new(er) car.

Why are they shitting down?

Here is the announcement. "In the past, our forums were the only way we could speak to you directly. They allowed our developers to talk with fans, and gave our players the opportunity to talk with each other about our games. But with the rise of social media and geek culture, there have never been more ways for us to connect."

Essentially, it sounds like they just don't feel like they're worth keeping (with stuff like Tumblr, Facebook, and Twitter out there), which is sad. I know a lot of modders have tutorials on there they're frantically saving.

Do you think it has anything to do with some of the recent staff changes at Bioware?

It's possible, I'm not really sure. It might be in preparation for Mass Effect: Andromeda coming out new year or because they have time now that DA:I is over a year old and ME:A isn't coming out until next year. Maybe they're thinking it's a good gap between games. Staff changes could definitely be a thing tough, I hadn't thought about that!

Well, with what's-his-face leaving (the guy that did most of the dialogue stuff) it sounded like there was maybe a few other things getting shaken up. I dk. Just knowing the corporate world, it's probably also a good time to downsize and cut positions where they can. No site? No longer need staff to monitor it. Those people can now do other things or maybe even have been let go.
