Had the same problem yesterday and it still hadn't changed today. But about an hour ago I tried again using IE and now it's updated...
Is this fixed for everyone? Mine has updated.

Hey everyone, I just did some work on the avatar servers and I think I resolved this. You should see your avatars updating in cache over the next 30 minutes or so :)!

I haven't updated my HA today, but I'll put it off till this is fixed.
I have problems with sharing HA's though: if I try and post an outfit with the outfit=????? code, it appears as a broken image. Whenever I share an outfit, the nose dissappears/isn't saved
