I had a topic for this to track my ghost pings (or maybe it was ghost profile comments) but I can't find it anymore. ?

And correct, the userID pings AND IT IS ANNOYING.

So it was supposed to fixed not to ping by user ID? I have never seent he board you linked. I thought you meant the board YOU made about ghost pings xD

To be honest? I don't know what was implying was fixed in that thread. ? I was just confirming 's findings! (And sorry, I thought I had made the thread I was remembering too! I clearly have this problem a lot.)

Ghost pings aren't fixed (and if pinging by userID is intentional, I'd like the ability to turn that off for obvious reasons). I haven't had a ghost profile comment in a while though?

This shouldn't ping you. It's problematic and irritating for the lower userID's, especially the single digits.

[edit] Ok, 55 didn't ping me (5), but the potential for mis-pings is still too high.

- That worked, but I was also pinged to Jessyta's post and I only see the there. So unless she pinged me and edited it out of her post, I don't know what happened.

I edited it out, as I didn't think it actually worked... It seems if you ping using someone's id, any other pings you put in your post will not appears as pings, only as plain text, but you just confirmed that they do in fact ping the person....

This should no longer ping me but we will see!

The user id no longer pings. Do you think this was the ghost ping problem or is there more to it?

That might have been it in this case. I can ask you to unlock this if we find out otherwise.
