Nopeu, growing up, my mom always thought that pets were a hassle, like having "more children", which she was like "lol no thx" to. :P And ooh! they're so pretty!~ UThey're all so cute and graceful (the oranda especially ahah- there's something kind of endearing about the little bump on its head aha) c:: Murhur, hopefully you'll have more soon then!

Yeah, I'm getting treatment, but due to some errors/poor decisions from the doctors early on, it's kind of prolonged my treatment for numerous months. :/ it's been almost a year since I was diagnosed, and I'm still not fully better yet. :// So I've had to put up with my poopy medication's side effects-- hopefully I'll only have to put up with it for just 3-4 more weeks, if I'm lucky.. but.. >.<

noooo that's not true :c kids take decades to age whereas pets only take a few years and remain cute forever ;v; the bump is called a 'wen' and apparently sometimes it grows so big people have to perform surgery on their fish to cut the wen so that it doesn't block their eyes! it's crazy

are you serious? that's so unprofessional, i'm so sorry you had to put up with that shit. why only a few more weeks? may i ask what the diagnosis was?

And I was diagnosed with a fairly rare (?) autoimmune illness :// I've been on medication for months and months, trying to get my labs down to normal, but we recently upped the dosage /even more/, in hopes that it can come down (despite all the side effects), before deciding if we should switch to the lesser used medications, which there aren't a lot of material/conclusive trials and evidence for. :///

dogs don't have it in them to be calm but cats, man. they can be so chill. can't you get fish at the moment?

I'm pretty excited! I like having something to do but at the same time it's stressing me out a bit. I'm really hoping that we get to 750. I'm a little worried....

I've been doing mine! c: I'm really excited about it because I think if we manage to hit it, I'm finally gonna be smart and get a pet with a name that I already have something written for instead of going for something pretty that I think I will eventually write something for. cx It'll be interesting to see if we do though, there's still quite a gap between the current number and the goal!

Hi everyone, I'm Nibs! waves I just joined, or at least, I think I did. I added the groups for pings. I've been around on subeta for many years, but I'll be honest and say that I was never really that active. Instead, I was a busy bee on neopets, but I'm trying to get away from that site a little more due to its endless issues. Essentially, I'm hoping to make friends to chat with (the main reason I stuck around on neo), and hopefully I can get more involved with subeta's annual events and working on my pets, specifically Nibs. She's my pride and joy. I hope I can meet all of you and learn more about Jellybean! :D

Oh, and I guess I'll tell you a little more about me.. I graduated college last year with degrees in Russian and Criminal Law. I'm currently fully employed, and my job is taking me across the country. I'm originally from PA (Pittsburgh to be specific, and I have a LOT of Pittsburgh pride!), then moved to VA for my husband's job, and then moved to TX for mine, where I am now until the end of this month. Then, I'm moving to Hawaii, where my husband currently is. We got super lucky that after he received a notice of transfer to Hawaii in April, that my employer also had a spot for me there in August. I'm pretty excited to move and be with him again!

Outside of that stuffs, I love doodling (even though I'm terrible at it!), reading novels (Nora Roberts, yeah I'm a sap), watching netflix (just finished watching Hart of Dixie - I'm open to any recommendations on shows to watch; I like Friends, Big Bang Theory, Law and Order SVU, NCIS), and I have a mild Dr. Pepper addiction. I'm currently training for a half-marathon. Last one I did was in 2015, so I'm hoping to do another this fall, so I can then do a full marathon next year.

Yup, sorry if that's too much or too little. I don't know.. I figure this will give you a bit of an idea of me xD
