On average, she requests 1-3 items, and the total is usually in the 70-90k (sometimes super bad luck of 100k), with payouts being distinctly less. Of course, all due to the weird item pool shenanigans going on driving prices higher.

Some of the items I took note of during the last few days of particular repeats:

This is far from an exhaustive list, as I've been in a rush every time I end up doing quests for this week. That said, it does seem to rotate every day to a "new" batch. But the same issue is still there--she just asks for repeats every couple quests (or back to back at times).

Looks like she's been tweaked a bit, asking just one item sometimes instead of always two or three. I'm still getting the occasional quitter, but it's some pressure off.

They are in there, but there's a lot less of triple quests and there's some variety. She isn't completely fixed, but at least in my experience she's better.

8 of my 15 quests were 3 item.
3 were 2 item. Only 4 were single item.

I do think the pool may have been expanded, though? I actually made a bit of profit from her today instead of being eaten alive.

It is better than the all double or triple we used to have, though, even if those are still the majority. And as you say, she's actually worth at least a little profit now instead of being eaten alive. (Excellently descriptive term there, btw). I think it's a step in the right direction, although she's still got some way to go.

Agreed! I wish staff would comment on this board to let us know what's been adjusted and if it's still being watched/looking into, though!

It feels as if she was bad again today, though not quite at wretched as some days previously. Still lots of 30K items and barely enough sP to cover it. I need to keep an actual log, though, to chart more carefully.

She just asked me for three items, which included TWO in ONE quest!

Edit: 6th September. Happened again. Maleria asked for two Azathoth Pauldrons in one quest.

I haven't noticed it happening when I've been doing her quests. Did all them all today and had her ask for no dupes

I've noticed when they ask for double items, they finish the quest even if you only have one in your inventory. For instance, if she asks for two sage, and you only buy one, she'll still let you finish the quest. It's as if the duplicate request gets forgotten about. Carl asked me for two of the same item a few days ago, and I was able to do the same thing, turn in only one.

Interesting. It's probably best to buy both items, unless staff says otherwise though. It might be taking advantage of a glitch to buy just the one if a quest giver asks for two of the same item.

If it is a glitch, it's been apparently been happening or 8+ months, without staff comment. Either the random generator for item quests occasionally spits out double item (and why in the world does it only take one from your inventory when it asks for two?) or something is glitching somewhere!

I thought the items that came up were based on an economy thing until she started paying me less than 10k. The repeat quests do happen for the other npcs as well however I'm only getting less sP back from a proportion of her quests.
