As a Brit who was incredibly upset at the Brexit result I completely understand your anguish. My facebook, instagram, tumblr (etc) were filled with people proud of being a member of the EU, and so when we voted to leave I really felt like asking...who?

Sometimes democracy can be really crappy. Democrat, Republican, Independents and Others mustn't allow this election to dishearten them. America is an amazing country filled with wonderful people. Sometimes there is so much anger in politics that you can't blame people for choosing to vote against the establishment. I have many things to say about Donald Trump, and none of them particularly nice...so instead I encourage everyone (regardless of what country you are in) to keep an open mind and ensure that your voice of acceptance is heard.

Trump at president isn't the end of the World, even if it feels like it. My heart goes out to all minority groups, whether they class themselves through gender, sexuality, race, or religion <3

The only thing that I have to say about the election results is give President Elect Trump a chance and see what he does rather than judging him as evil due to the smear campaign that was used against him. I will not say anything further about this so please do not attempt to start a debate that can turn into a flame war.

When Brexit happened, I was shocked. But it gave me two thoughts, one, that it meant that a similar thing could happen in the US, and two, that maybe the Americans would take it as a warning and so ensure that it wouldn't happen there. I guess I was sadly mistaken about option two.

I'm a little calmer today, but still very unhappy. Your words have helped.

welcome! Yeah, I find that even if I try to give myself challenges, I still end up wearing the same old stuff all the time. With the DI, I've used so many things that I wouldn't otherwise use, that I feel there's an actual excuse to spend billions on my wardrobe :D
