Thats important when you have little ones around. I eep all my sewing items in tubs keeps them clean and not all over the place. That pyramids and sphinx are so beautiful and spooky at night.

Away from curious little fingers, i had to lay down the law with my sons and their older. They were using my sewing scissors for things. I liked to have snatched them bald. I forbid them, and it didnt do any good. So I had to put it in man terms, short of tearing off their arm and beat them with it, LOL. I told them, you know when you fix a machine, and you have to have a special tool or you cant do the job. Well that is how you need to look at my sewing scissors from now on. It worked!

especially if you spent a day visiting tombs, temples and the museum that has mummies on display. Sometimes guys just dont take hearing dont touch that. Its not like there wasnt other scissors in the house, they were just to lazy to look. So they went for the scissors, I had. Because I put things back in the same place.

The museum that I went to in Cairo has most of the items from King Tut's tomb. But sometimes the mummy is on tour with the originial gold sarcophugus, and they put a replica of his sarcophugus in place of the real one. I have saw both, and I can tell across the room if its the copy. Just doesnt have the craftsmanship and to me, it looks so fake. I saw Ramses the 9th's mummy, he still had his finger and toenails. There is so much gold, its hard not having your mouth hang open in shock.
