- Both 'Forensic Psychology and/or Child and Adolescent Psychology' sound really interesting! I can imagine there is a lot of boring research that goes into them tough which really put my off when I was applying at Uni.

I am a little behind on my studies as I started Uni like 6/7 years after all of my peers. Like you said it is what it is c:

and most certainly, lots of it. but dealing with them would mean i could be a part of the judicial system working with the law, which i like, or i could work with kids (or do both!) haha it's gonna take a while to complete both of their separate programs to be able to fully do what i want and just look like i have some really dope credentials, but i'm cool with it.

before my transfer i was graphic design, and lemme tell you that i love it. but not enough to make a career out of it.

I know what you mean!! Everything I used to do got changed or canned. I used to LOVE restocking SubQ. Like...for hours. I loved snagging the hard-to-get items. The RE tickets just killed it for me. And I don't have the time (or patience) for BHH haha. Then trivia was nixed, then Survival/Pandemic was changed. I tried to do Spotlight but my one pet kept getting rejected and even the help forums couldn't help figure out why so I gave up. Eventually I just came on once a day to collect interest (it was a significant amount for me) but since they got rid of that too I haven't even had a reason at all to come back daily! I don't have as much time now and a lot of my friends have drifted off the site, but I kinda miss it and wanted to see if there was ANYTHING left I might come back for haha. I feel the same about my old cult. I really loved when we were smaller but even though I was one of the first in it, the 'founders' were all friends from a previous cult and we became friends but I never felt part of the "inner circle". Although one of my cultmates has become one of my RL best friends. And then in the end I wasn't fond of a lot of the newer members and just kinda felt...out of place. So I left.

It really isn't the same without the friends! I don't do a lot anymore but I always miss being able to chat with cultmates or rant or be excited about things on site. Plus, adult conversation is nice. It's just me and my 2 year old a lot of the time LOL

It can be hard to sustain interest on this site, especially with all the changes all the time (not all of them good). I used to be a pretty avid battler, but got beat down by years and years of changes that felt like they were always pushing me back and making the game harder/more complex. The past battle admins mostly seemed like they were honestly trying to make the game better, but it didn't always feel that way to me. The current battle admins seem much better, but I'm not as invested in it as I used to be. Whew, sorry for that little rant.

And, aw, I miss trivia. It was one of my favorite things on the site and I always liked seeing the prizes. I think I was even on the high score table.

I tried getting in to battling, but I've just never been that great at it (on any pet site). I have a pet that is OK enough for events to not get left too far behind, but I gave up haha. I loved doing the Alchemy when it came out...got me back in to restocking and everything! But they never did anything with the levels (I even asked about them in person at a meetup years ago) and I don't think we have had any new alchemy recipes in over a year? You get tired of restocking and making the same ol things!

Ah, I never really got into alchemy. It sounded interesting but was just so expensive when it first started and I never really went back to it.

It was so much fun to figure out how everything worked! I even made a pet (who won a spotlight) about it as a guide. I think I need to tweak it a little though since they fixed some of the bugs. I just hadn't since, well, they never update it anymore haha.

So I just peeked in to the Art Market since I haven't gotten HA art done in FOREVER since they cleared my forum stuff and I went away. It seems so overwhelming now! I need some of my current HA. Any of you have any suggestions of your favorite artists? I can only pay in sP but in that regard, price isn't much of an issue.

at a local university for the counselling service and at the local rape crisis as a listener on the phone line. They're both pretty awesome jobs and are definitely a lot more rewarding than the job that pays my daily wage!! :)

Oh wow, that sounds pretty intense, do you get a lot of calls? I am glad that you like your volunteer job, you're definitely making a good impact on the people who call

yeah, I think it can be but I think that knowing that you've been able to help someone even just by giving them the space to listen massively outweighs anything they might have experienced or been through. Plus, when I had my counselling 10 years ago I always wanted to give something back so this lets me do that :)

We don't get loads of calls but we do get calls every time it's open :)
