I'm working on this now :) There are still some remnants of the DDoS attack coming through, so it's just a matter of really tightening everything up.

fwiw, your browser extensions have nothing to do with the 502s, they are completely on our end. pusher.js is also not related, though it does cause lag for some people (but not 502s). but the past few days as soon as i know of them, i have been running a script from my computer that resolves them almost immediately. it just depends how fast i find out they're happening!

right now i'm working on rewriting a site feature where a major bottleneck exists in our server-database connections, and we're hoping that when that's done and released it will resolve this.

is it specifically saying avatar.subeta.net?

(I haven't gotten ant 502/504s yet, but I ran a script to restart the servers so hopefully you'll be getting less of those errors!)
