Been checking back OCD about the trees. Prolly gonna stay away from Subeta till friday so I stop driving myself crazy ahaha. Anyway great job guys. Thank you for all the hard work and eager to see what goodies hide beneath my tree (probably all from Seny LOL)
i know alot of people were upset about that, thats awesome! worth a few extra days if need be
Great work, you are a talented coder! I am sure the news that people will know who gave the gifts will thrill everyone!
A little disappointed it's pushed back, since I was so looking forward to it, but SO worth it!
ty for finding an fixing have a great new years to you and yours :D

Always in our thoughts an <3
Awesome news! Thanks for all the hard work you're doing for us players. :D
Have to say I'm rather disappointed as well; I'm very ill at the moment and was hoping to see them out today to cheer me up a little. This is good for those that would like the names on their presents though.
Mixed feelings.
I do appreciate the work going on to fix everything. Especially after the DDos attack. And I'm glad everyone effected by the original glitch will know who gave them what. I had several friends effected and I know they will be pleased.
But really disappointed in the continuing push back of the trees. People are still buying items so every day there is a great probability that what is under their tree gets removed from their WL because they have purchased it and it won't seem like a gift any more. I put many new years items under trees. Tokens were not as plentiful in previous years and the items were worth more. Tokens are flowing like crazy this year and the likelihood that those gifts will already be purchased before people receive their gifts just keeps going up. Just makes me sad.

Amazing news! Thank you for all your hard work :D
Oh, what good news! Thank you! c:
Mischievous Diadem available in my CW shop!
That's great. It would suck not knowing who gave you what and not being able to thank people. Thanks for the update.
I was really angry that things could get 100% lost on Subeta, so glad to hear that this isn't the case anymore! I really have no problem waiting a bit longer to make sure that everything can be gifted and named as planned!
[Side-eyeing the people liking complaint posts from the shadows...]
Thank you so much, grelca. I know this was a very important factor for many people. You have been working so hard to make sure this is done right, so for it to take more time is both expected and reasonable. So many of us really appreciate it!
25th of December: "We will be updating you as soon as possible (this could mean it might take a few days) with the link to the Trees so you can open your gifts properly" (newspost)

28th of December: "We’re hoping to get them out very soon. Unfortunately that might mean tomorrow, I’m not 100% sure." (staff comment in a newspost)

1st of Jan: "Trees are still safe, we’ll be opening those sometime this week" (newspost - made on a Friday, so implying in the next two days)

1st of Jan: "I meant it as more of an "in the next 7 days" sort of thing." (comment on the newspost)

2nd of Jan: "at this point I expect them to be ready by Monday or Tuesday." (announcment)

4th of Jan: "This does mean pushing the trees release back a day or two, which means the trees will be out on Friday at the absolute latest." (Announcement)
While I'm very glad it's getting properly fixed, this drip feeding of logging on and finding it's been pushed back has made the wait seem much, much longer than it actually is. Nothing you can do about it at this point, and I know staff were giving those dates in good faith, but I feel like I've needlessly wasted my time checking in frequently to see if there's been an update.
I agree with this. It isn't so much that I'm frustrated about the trees opening up this Friday, however I kept expecting them to open sooner based on the information that was given. Each time I got my hopes up and ultimately they were shot down and that just gets a bit disheartening.
I'm really happy that more information has been discovered and everyone gets to know the gift givers c: that's good news!
I would like to echo these posts as well. I am of course happy to see that the major tree issue (anon gifting) is being fixed -- however the 'updates' that we were given were sometimes completely innacurate due to absence of communication between staff members. It just gave everyone the impression that staff didn't really know what was going on but was still feeding us 'updates' just for the sake of saying 'yes it is taken care of'.
I'm all for telling people that it will take 'around 2 weeks' if that's what it takes (hey mistakes happen!), but officially announcing 'a few days'... every few days or so because you really have no idea is frustrating as well.
(Please do not misunderstand, I'm excited to finally have the trees open soon -- I'm merely voicing my opinion on the way updates were given to us!)
Take your time with getting everything fixed, I'm alright with waiting! :)
I'm glad the names will be attached to all the presents.
Awesome news, and great work grelca! :) Make sure you take some time to rest though!
Signature cleared by staff.
This is really great news. I don't mind waiting a few more days for trees, especially if it means people will be able to see which friend gave them what.
This holiday season just seemed really marred by the tree fiasco and ddos attack thing. I really appreciate all the nice gifts that were given to us in order to placate our frustration. I really appreciate all of the awesome artwork for the Melody items, ornaments and the new Shengui Guo perennial tree.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one frustraded with the "a few days" part. I know staff been working really hard and i'm very grateful for all their hard work, but I wish they had said about two weeks or something instead of a few days, post after post I had my hopes up and, well, I am kind of frustr8 about all of this. i hope I don't sound ungrateful or anything and I know theres rl like peopel working on this and I no way want to ake anyone sad or feel bad, it's just how I feel :/
Ily guys, this is the best staff ever,it's the only one in all petsites i play/played that actually cares for their users, but, really, I hope this time it's for real. (also, please no one gets sad ;w;" ) :/
Sorry about the rant, it's just... I was scared to post at first because I didn't wanted to sound ungrateful or anything, but seeing I ain't the only one who felt like that, i got the courage needed to finally say how i am feeling about all of this. Not about the wait or the glitch, it happens, but about the "a few days part", it really stinks to have your hopes up and then, well. xD Maybe it's just a silly thing to feel, ohwell. ^^"
I hope this time it works tho. :')
Thank you so much for all your hard work, and apologies if I ever sounded mean (i hope i didnt ;w; really!!), it's no way my intention. I wish this to get fixed soon as i want to see people who got gifts from me happy, i will love to see their reactions hahah. I really filled some trees and I hope they will love the gifts as much i enjoyed fillnig their trees ;w;
And, maybe open the donation corner sooner? o-0 if ppl didn't destroyed the items they had to destroy by now, i don't think they will do it now tbh (i really hope all ppl destroyed those items tho :'D ) i think the donation corner will be full with stuff, it will be lotsa fun to saerch through it :3 personally i like to pick plushies/foods from it, eventually clothes i dont have, and if i get lucky something expensive, i remember i once got a 400k item from there, i was so happy xD
