Leeda followed the pair, trotting behind them with her tail in the air and doing her best to avoid puddles. When the two stopped at a pub she decided it would be a good time to retrieve her clothes. 'The Pissed Fowl, nice name.' she thought before trotting into the shadows and back to the tree with her clothing.

She climbed the tree easily, her claws catching on the rough wood of the tree. Thankfully nobody had discovered or disturbed her hiding place. Once again she scanned to make sure nobody was watching before shifting into a human. Balancing carefully she donned her standard attire of shirt, vest, pants, and boots before descending to ground level. The rest of her gear was then put on including her knives and picks. "Off to watch." she told the air, striding off to the bar.

A rather inebriated man stumbled into her way as she approached the bar, "Hey therre... girlie." he slurred at her, trying to stand up straight and look sober. He looked like a thug, strong muscles and scars scattered over his arms and face. She eyed the much taller man, he had size and weight on his size, but she had sobriety. "You want buurrrpp have ffun?" he continued, smiling a little too big and waggling his eyebrows at her.

Leeda knew she wouldn't be able to pass this man without trouble, he looked like he would try to have 'fun' with any woman that walked by. "Tell ya what, big fella-" she said, approaching him, feigning interest, "Why don't you take a seat over there. I'll be back after I get a drink." she patted his shoulder, smiling. The man was at least a foot taller than she and decided he wanted fun now, grabbing her hand and tugging on it, leading her to an alley. "Or you can sit down right here." The thief, not liking the sudden turn of events, struck his knee, kicking it inwards towards his other. The man stumbled and fell down, moaning, clutching his leg. "The next time you ask for a lady's time, play nicely." she told him before kicking him in the head and stealing his coinpurse.

She strode into the bar like nothing was wrong, her eyes scanning the room for her target. This was made difficult as many of the people were at least half a foot taller than she was. Catching the sound of his voice, possibly introducing his companion to somebody, she turned towards their corner and spied the two with another man, he looked like a fighter of some sort. "Great, more people to avoid." she muttered before choosing a lone two-person table near their corner. The bar was loud enough that she couldn't catch much of their conversation. She ordered a cider when the barmaid approached her and dropped the appropriate amount of coins on the table, and waited to hear anything useful.

Lorcan nodded, rubbing his forever closed left eye. The spot hurt from time to time, depending on how tired he was, which was a lot nowadays, his age starting to catch up with him.

"A place ta sell my stuff, and job opportunities for me. Also locations of places people want ta explore, but are too scared ta do so! Those usually yield the best loot! You should come along one day, I think ya'd enjoy temple crawling!" He said with a grin. He noted a man turn his ear towards the group, trying to listen in without being noticed. Time to start scaring any listeners away.

"You seem ta have made it out o' that war unscathed, wish I was so lucky." He said, tapping his left eye with a sorry grin. "Took a damn arrow to the face holding off a group of your ex-comrads in that valley, to keep them from getting ta the civilians fleeing the fight. Didn't want to waste what the Gods have given me, so I pulled the arrow out..." He made the motion of yanking an arrow from his eye socket, and held the invisible arrow to his mouth. ".... And I ate that eye. Should seen the few soldiers still around vomit all over the place. Priceless I tell ya, priceless!" The man choked on his drink, and got up to move away. Lorcan laughed.

We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say "Kiss my Irish ass! ya better kiss my Irish ASS!"

OOC: hey guys. I'm joining in ^^ gonna post the profiles and my intro here. Figured I'd ping everyone so it doesn't get lost in the muddle, I hope that is okay

profiles Name: Azierr Trislani

Age: Appears in her early twenties, is 38

Gender: Female

Species: Shifter, Though none outside of her family know what or how capable. Believed to be a Liger like her brother

Personality:Azierr comes off as cold and analytical when she is first confronted with new people until she decides whether she is fond of them or able to place what kind of person they are then as long as she does not find you distasteful she becomes warm, giving and open, happy to see others happy. If she does not find you to be 'up to snuff', as her father would describe it, she becomes even colder, either opting to be short and curt or outright acting as if you do not exist. When left be she is curious and quick to be pleased with the littlest wonders in life. She comes across as far to kind and trusting when she is out and about and relaxed but underneath her sweet smile and sparkling eyes lays a layer of steel that she will wield in defense of those she believes need it most, friend or not. When upset, whether in a panic or sadness, she shuts down, curling into herself and ignoring the world or putting that iciness to use against the source of her upset. She is not commonly found at the start of a fray but is more than willing to break one up, especially if her brother is tied into it. She has a very low key rebellious streak that brings on small acts of rebellion, unless she is being ordered by her brother, then it becomes a full on game of fighting the tide if he is being over protective.

Abilities:She is believed to be able to shift like her brother. While she is warm and dresses in feminine styles she hides is trained in hand to hand combat wielding a pair of intricate metal claws over her fingers, though she is still learning, and is very skilled with her whip. She is inclined towards magic of light and heat, heating her claws or using flashes of light to blind or misdirect opponents amongst other things. She will not use fire magic.

Weaknesses:Fire, is almost any form, It upsets and frightens her. To willing to trust those she perceives as innocent or victims of circumstance. Her magic will drain her over time if used to much, worsening her limp and bringing on a dry cough she has suffered from since the fire.

Appearance:AzierrAzierr appears young and sweet, standing at 5'6" with a feminine figure and an easy smile as long as she finds the company agreeable. She favors the drapey, sweeping clothes of her mothers people, often using it to soften herself and hide the definition she has gain from her training though she wears a wrap of fur about her shoulders as is tradition in her fathers family. Her eyes are a gold flecked, faded green and her hair is often worn in a mass of controlled chaos. She often wheres kohl about her eyes and tinting her lips as is common amongst her mothers people in the desert kingdom of Visalie. She has burn scars from the foot to her hip of her left leg, discoloring the skin around them, and at times will walk with a limp if they ache. Wears a black star sapphire on her forehead that is held in place by three silver chains draped over her hair.

Background: Azierr was born of the eve of a full moon to the noble head of the line of the the lion, Lord Arrante Trislani, and his strange bride, who had returned with him from a journey to Visalie as an outcast tiger, and was a pleasant surprise. Her mother had born her brother just moments before and they had all been shocked to find that she would deliver another child into the world, much to excitement of her parents and to the dismay of a superstitious midwife who proclaimed it a sign of troubled times for those who resided under the house of the lion. Until the children were 7 this was scoffed at as even through rough times they had thrived. The dawning of the twins seventh birthday was greeted by a roaring fire that could not be quelled that consumed the estate of the family and several members of the family. The twins both received burns, Azierr's left leg being seared quite thoroughly when she pulled her brother away from the flames in their room. The twins injuries and the loss of so many lives set their parents to flee the disastrous state of the kingdom for Visalie, where they would seek shelter with the people of her mothers village, a mixture of tigers, serpents, and humans who seemed to have no place of their own. The twins had little knowledge of their old home as they were raised in their sheltered home, cherished and protected. When their mother passed of a bite from a rather poisonous viper some 28 years their father began relating tales of their old home and the treachery they fled after the fall of the royal family. His children chalked it up to the nostalgia of a brokenhearted man who had lost his home and now the love of his life but absorbed it with the vigor of those who wanted distraction from loss and wanted to know of their origins. Not a year later they lost their father to what hey could only assume was a broken heart and began wondering about their place amonst these people, most of whom they saw as distant family and never anything quite direct, yearning for a family all their own. Name: Asvin Trislani

Age:Appears in his early twenties, is 38

Gender: Male

Species:Shifter- Liger

Personality:Much like his sister, Asvin likes to get a feel for people before showing his hand, often coming across hard and displeased as he considers things. Underneath all of his bluster he is a man of morals and kindness, wanting to do right by those he meets. He is quick to raise a blade in defense of what he believes is right, living by the lions code of pride and right that his father taught him. He is not as quick to flash a smile as his sister, unless of course, a pretty girl has caught hold of his heart, then he becomes flashing teeth and attempted smooth words. Once he opens up to others he becomes a man of easy smiles and boisterous rounds of chatter over drinks and good food. He is extremely defensive of his sister, believing he needs to put her in a bubble to protect her from the world and her quick judgements. His temper will be his downfall, hopping into a fight over the smallest offense at times.

Abilities:He is skilled with throwing knives as well as a large sword he carries at his hip. He wields ice and cold magic, though his magic is limited due to a lack of working with it.Most underestimate his speed and agility due to his size. Shifts into a Liger, Lion tiger hybrid.

Weaknesses:Dislikes fire but does not have the sheer fear of his sister. Is not strong with magic. Likes good drink a tad to much at times.

Appearance:Human formLigerHis eyes do not bare as much of the gold tone that his sisters do however he carries the same faded shade of green and a tendency towards controlled chaos grooming habits. His mode of dress is often light armour of leather and breeches with a throw of fur about his shoulders as is tradition in his fathers family. He stands at 6'4", well muscled but lithe, prepared to hop into a brawl at a moments notice. He does not make his status as a warrior or his noble blood close to the chest, preferring to stride with pride and strength about his person. He carries burn scares from his elbow down to his hand on his right arm which at times will ache, especially when using his magic. Carries knives hidden at his belt but openly carries his large blade in a scabbard at his hip. wears a white star sapphire in a thick torque necklace of silver about his neck.

Background:Asvin was born on the eve of a full moon to excited new parents and was set to be the first heir to his family line but and if that hadn't been exciting enough, he was followed by his little sister not an hour later. For the first seven years of his life her was known to avoid her and treat her like a burden. This changed after she woke him and practically dragged him from their room to save him from the fire and injuring herself in the process. As they grew he made it his solemn responsibility to shield her from anything that may hurt her. Now that they have no direct family they are both set upon finding any remaining members of their fathers family so they have set out to find them.

A pair of lonely figures stood at the head of the darkened ship deck of a merchant ship from Visalie, both wrapped in hooded cloaks that shielded them from prying eyes and muffled their exchanges from prying ears. "I will have you guarded while I search the city for information on the remaining members of Father's clan. I will not have you roaming this...place on your own." The strong voice came from beneath the hood of the larger of the figures was muted but obviously was not pleased with the line of conversation and disdain dripped from his voice as he glance about the line of the approaching shore, tasting the taint of a cities press on the air, a mixture of fires, waste and the press of people, even at this late hour. The smaller figure turned on her heel, for the flowing skirt beneath the cloak left as much question of the gender as the size of her companion did, and stomped her sandal clad foot. "There is no need for doting, Brother. I can watch over myself as well as any hired sword you may find in this place! I will not be escorted about as if I am some meek noble woman with no sense of the world!" She made no effort to muffle her lilting voice that danced over the deck as the hands began moving from their places to dock where they approached.

He swung his head about and lowered his chin to look down into his sisters eyes that glittered with defiance and huffed in displeasure. "Perhaps playing such a role will be useful in this endeavor. More flies with honey than vinegar, Yes? I am sure you are better with honey than I am." She raised a slim finger from beneath her cloak to poke him in the chest to punctuate a point before being interrupted by a deck hand who wished to know if they would like their things brought up for them or if they had somewhere they wanted it taken for them. "We have little knowledge of this place as of yet so please have them brought up and we will transport them ourselves with out horse. we will find lodgings on arrival. " Her tone was gentle and warm as she spoke and the lower half of her face that he could see bore a dimpled smile which he quickly responded with a fumbled bow and went to do as he was bid. Her brother raised his brows at her with look that simply screamed I told you so and she shot him a displeased look "Fine, perhaps honey will be necessary, but I will veto your hired blade if I do not like them" He sighed wearily and laughed with a defeated shrug. "I would expect nothing less of you, but then, how often do you meet someone you outright do not like?"She crossed her arms and rested them on the railing of the ship irritably and huffed at him, knowing he had a point even if it chaffed at her pride.

As the ship came to dock the males hand snaked out to grasp her shoulder and steady them both against the bumps of the docking and she gripped the rail to do the same, grimacing. Neither of them had been over fond of the voyage as the merchant ship did not sail with the same ease or speed of the skimmers that were preferred by their mother's people when they did sail. Once the docking had been finished and the movement of the deck had settled they both straightened and made their way to the railing as a large stallion that bore a coat the dark gray of heavy storm clouds was led up from below deck with loaded saddlebags and a few traveling bags attached to his saddle. The male smiled and took the reins of the horse, which ceased it's snorting and pawing to nudge at the females should affectionately. She patted it's nose gently and clucked "You are giving these nice men problems, throwing tantrums, Chaliva?" Her brother rolled his eyes and began down the plank of the ship to the dock. "Even my horse is hard headed, you have rubbed off on him, sister" Goldengreen eyes narrowed at him and she took the traveling pack made of shimmering red, gold, and blue fabrics from the horses saddle and slung it over her shoulders. The ship hand at the bottom of the plank tried not to laugh at her brothers words as he gave the man a few extra coins to split amongst them for their silence on the siblings presence. He had paid well beforehand to ensure said silence however one could never be to cautious when you are unsure of the welcome of your presence.

He raised a brow at his sister as they began their trek from the darkened, misty docks to the chilled streets of the city neither of them had seen since they were so young that their memories were vague. He mimicked her action, swinging his black pack of sturdy leather over his shoulders as well, easing some of his horses burden. "That pack is truly blinding, what set you to bring it with you? It will draw the attention of all for a mile" She puffed out her chest and adjusted the gauzy layers of green skirts hidden mostly beneath her oversized brown cloak "I will not change myself for this place. It is not as if I wish to hide amongst them as many do. You have your ways of garnering the proper information but if I am to play the role of a honeyed visiting woman of noble blood who is here simply because of her traveling brother then I will play the role as I see fit. I will tell what lies are necessary on your behalf but will not paint myself with such false brushes....Now I am hungry and thirsty and we should find a place to bed down." He laughed at her sudden change in tone and shook his head with a smirk of bemusement "I suppose we must feed the beast that is your stomach and find a warm place to rest our heads until we can settle ourselves in some more suitable way." She nodded resolutely, her face a mockery of seriousness as her eyes scanned the streets they were traversing, curious about this city and the people that lived here. She was offput by the guards however they did not seem inclined to bother the two obviously visiting individuals. She grabbed his arm as they approached a well lit, boisterous pub, her face a mask of thrilled excitement and he frowned. "The....pissed fowl...ugh, nooooo"His accented words dragged out in exasperation however he guided his horse to the stable and paid a hand to care for the beast and watch their belongs, not that the chained bags could be easily gotten into. He sighed as his excited sister dragged him into the pub, his free hand resting on the hilt of his blade beneath his cloak. His sister chose a table as far from the fire of the main room, curls spilling haphazardly from beneath the hood of her cloak as she spoke in her lilting accent to a serving girl who approached. "We will have whatever it is that you have that is warming and palatable and some honeyed mead or spiced wine if you have any" Her brother leaned back in his chair with a sigh and added "and since we're in such a place, any information on available, trained and preferably dignified sell swords I may speak with about setting up protection for my companion" His lips were tight as he scanned the room, amazed his sister had already deemed the place safe enough to lower her hood and unleash her unruly mop of curls as she turned to shake her head at him in dismay.

To be quite honest, the pale shifter's chastise stung and had her bristling with anger. She hadn't needed to be scolded since childhood; dammit, she was a grown woman! She worked all day in the blazing heat for hours on end with no meals and practiced her skills at night to make whatever monies she could. This woman seemed trustworthy and radiated a subtle amount of power, and because of this Athena had asked for her help. She would be eternally grateful, especially so because she could feel this woman's hesitance, if she got them past the guards and safely back into the city gates. But by no means did her actions excuse the behavior of this beast. Athena would defend herself against the creature if need be. Yes, she understood that humans and shifters did not usually play nice together and she had been wary of them at first, but her inhibitions had given way to tolerance- maybe even acceptance. It seemed that it would take longer for the injured beast to warm up to her, Hehe, warm, but hopefully their little journey would go smoothly. Athena had no doubt that they would be left behind if the light squabbling continued.

Once they set out for the makeshift entrance the woman had mentioned, she easily kept up. They quickly cleared the trees belonging to the forest, "I hadn't realized we were se close." She whispered, she would do well to remember this tidbit of information if she were to ever find herself out past curfew like this. Soon the group was passing countless walls marred with battle scars and obvious signs of both decay and construction. It would suffice to say that some were definitely in better condition than others. She was sure the scars were hideous when sunlight shown but in the dim light being given off from the lantern still clutched in the tiger's jaws, it was surprisingly quite beautiful.

She paused at the wall in question and adjusted the bag slung over her shoulder. It had become quite a nuisance while jogging, the constant pounding on her back would surely leave a bruise. With a tender touch, Athena attempted to massage her aching shoulder as the shifter woman spoke and nodded her head in understanding, awaiting further instruction.

Carefully, the young woman would peer beyond the walls within the grounds. There were maybe one or two men snoozing on the job, obviously worn from exhaustion. One of them had a bucket of ale hanging from his fingers, out cold with sleep. Pale lips pressed together, steadying her breath despite her pounding heart. This area brought back pained memories she wished not to repeat. However the wars were replaying in the back of her head over and over again. “Quickly now, this way.” she whispered to the two, tiger at her side as she hurried with stealthy haste. It wasn't long before she'd reached her clinic, keeping a calm demeanor as she opened her door, hoping to usher the shifter man and the human woman inside. Once entered, the clinic started with what appeared to be a small sitting room with a small fire place, and two cottage-made loveseats. This then extended into comfortably narrow hall with three rooms. One room appeared large with several beds, a few appeared recently used; however unattended. Across from that was a room with the door slightly ajar though heavily perfumed of many different fragrances. Plants and herbs hung from various places of the walls and ceiling, plethora of shelves held many different medicinal and botany books. There was a small stairway heading towards upstairs however the door appeared closed shut. Further down the hall was a room with many cooking material with little fruits and vegetables and occasionally a few meats stored in ice. Overall the structure had a homey, and welcoming appeal with its cottage-decor.

White tiger beast would enter, placing Envy lantern on a near by end table made of redwood. It appeared hand crafted but none of Morgäna's doing. Pale fingers would snap together and point nostalgically at her little stone-structured fire place and a flame would appear as if it had been burning for a while. She didn't even have to look to get her flame to start, however she tugged at her cloak as if she felt suffocated momentarily evident of strain. “The food pantry is at the end of the hall if you're hungry.” Hoping the fire-dancer was acknowledged, tapping the head of her tiger to escort. White tiger would grumble irritably, pressing concern for his companion who had set herself into an instant work-mode, shedding her cloak to a nearby chair. Muted plum hair was tied back in a loosely made messy bun. Strands of hair would fall against her face, one of which was pulled just behind her pale ear.

Morgäna would turn her attention to the man with a contemplative, analyzing stare. She would approach if he would allow to get a better look at him. “Hm..”

ooc: Hopefully this is okay, I wanted to get this moving =w=; let me know if I need to change something <3

Jason smirked at the girl's retort, simply saying "That's debatable." With a wink. While he listened to Val and Lorcan, he signaled a barmaid who just waited a girl not too far off. As the two others finished speaking, the waitress had arrived at the table. The former knight asked for another mug of ale, giving her a flirtatious smile as she left. He turned back to the shifter and mercenary, who were both waiting for his response. Jason took a moment to lean back and scratch his head, before finally speaking once again.

"Well, for starters I know that there's a pawn in the market district just west of here. For jobs, there's a notice board I usually use here." He proceeded to point to a wood board towards the front of the room with multiple slips of paper attached somehow, whether by nail or by dagger. "Those jobs usually range from lost items, to bounties on people's heads, to the occasional 'kill monster terrorizing town' job. As far as dungeon diving goes, I'm pretty sure the bartender knows a place or two, with all the rumors going around here everyday."

Jason chuckled at Lorcan's story as the nearby eavesdropper coughed his way to a different table. Once he was done talking, the former knight unfastened his breastplate from his backplate, saying "Well, I didn't escape entirely unscathed. I was on death's door just as I was about to leave that kingdom." He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt, revealing the silvery tissue of the large x-shaped scar on his chest. He rebuttoned his shirt and put his breastplate back on, stating "I'd rather not go into any more detail about how I got it, but that's that, and this is now."

Once inside the clinic, Orion looked around. Still in wolf form, the smells were amplified, including the distinct smell of birth. He was so caught up in taking everything in, he didn't notice the ghost woman approach him. He caught sight of her out the corner of his eye and was startled, jerking away from her with a yelp. His movement had increased the pain significantly, and now his adrenaline had subsided. "If I try to change back, it may get worse." He told her. It was a miracle that his initial change hadn't worsened the injury. With that he approached her, his injured, swollen side facing her. "Do what you must, I'm ready this time." His growl of a voice, barely a voice at all really, was getting shaky. Shock was beginning to set in as the pain increased. He decided to lay down right where he was so that she could work on him. All the while small, stifled whimpers came from his canine muzzle. He felt silly, but it was a dog thing. It was a shifter thing.

The sun would be rising soon, and the sound of busy streets would also begin to parade just outside her clinic. Soft sigh exhaled from pale lips, it wouldn't be the first time she'd gone without sleep. It would be day three if she could remember correctly as a matter of fact. Attention would keep to the wolf, unresponsive to his startled yelp. “Changing back at the given state would be foolish.” she hummed coolly as he approached. A small frown painted her ghostly appearance, with a gentle touch to his swollen side, pale fingers would tangle in his thick black hairs. “Easy, now.” Her brows would furrow – knowing there was little she could physically do. Fractured and even broken ribs would heal themselves over time which caused her to curse under her breath. She wasn't sure if she was comfortable having a complete stranger in her clinic, let alone her home for such an extended time. Morgäna was use to the occasional one or two days, depending on her patients status. This wasn't some high-end medical facility either. Unlike her deceased sister, she wasn't gifted with the art of magic healing either.

“I have medicine to alleviate the pain.” she hummed thoughtfully, trying to remember where she had placed her made medicines she had made before closing several hours ago. She had taken note of his occasional whimpering though made no comment towards it. “My resources are limited – The ribs will mend themselves but over a period of several weeks...” She was frustrated with herself as one of the setbacks of which she did not quite grasp her limits. She would retreat from him with ease, light on her toes as she shuffled through the occasional shelf or cabinets. She'd nearly forgotten of the girl and her tiger, as she was in-tuned to work. Poking her head into her study – the room of which filled with plants and books, and a heavy supply of medicines stored in small glass vials, capped with little cork-tops. She plucked the one with a soft yellowing hue to the liquid made of a mixture of Allheal, Forsythia and a few other herbs which would rid the pain; its only side effect was its terrible, bitter taste.

It wasn't long before she was back at the mans wolfish side, small marble bowl and the medicine in hand before setting the marble at his black nose. She poured what would look to be a teaspoon of the medicine into the bowl, saving the rest. “Here.” she nudged the small bowl, closer towards him. “It is foul to the taste, but it will help your pain.” This would have been a little easier in his human form, however she would find a way to ease the mending process until he could comfortably shift back - hoping he would soon, so that she could get a look at his eye as well. “Once the pain has subsided for the time being, there are some breathing exercises I'd like to go over with you.”

Val's cheeks quickly turned red at Jason's wink, either from embarrassment or annoyance; she couldn't tell which. She furrowed her brows slightly, ready to protest again, but the information he offered was useful, so she tried her best to calm herself back down.

"I guess bounty hunting is something I could get into," Vallyn considered out loud. "Then again, dungeon crawling sounds like quite an exciting change of pace."

She eyed all of the loot that Lorcan had scored from his last adventure and envied the amount of coin he was sure to get. Perhaps she was in the wrong line of work after all. She looked away shyly as Jason began unbuttoning his shirt to show off his scar, and instead noticed a strikingly beautiful pair of people enter the pub. They looked so out of place among the common riff-raff and thugs that filled the building. The two sat down nearby and she couldn't help but stare at them, intrigued. Over the buzz of the other patrons, she could just barely hear the man ask for information about a sellsword.

"Huh, maybe I'm not in the wrong line of work after all," She mused to herself, turning back to the men at her table, but keeping an eye on the newcomers as well.

{OOC: sorry I've been away, was passing a kidney stone -.-;}

Asvin smiled down at his sister and patter her head with a leather clad hand "I will find you a suitable escort or two as soon as possible, I will not have you roaming this city or the remains of the past without one." He glanced about at the mixed crowd in the place, noting the varied interest they had attracted, eyeing the group that appeared to be amongst the more reputable of the patrons and whispering. "especially if you are to come across as the benign sister of a noble visiting on business." "hm, well then if you must but keep the numbers to a minimum, it would seem odd if I had a regiment guarding me, you know" Azierr nodded with a look of resignation as the food and drink they had ordered was set upon their table by a server, who passed information of a few groups of mercenaries and sellswords who were currently there. Asvin offered her a warm smile and pressed several coins into her hands, thanking her for her assistance. Azierr immediately began cutting away chunks of what was some kind of grilled and spiced fish that was better than expected and eating with gusto, managing to glower at those who stared at her to long while her brother drank the mead that had been given, nibbling on little bits here and there.

By the time his sister had demolished the fish with a dainty but somehow quick efficiency that he would never master he had settled himself on a few candidates for the position he needed filled. Asvin pushed himself up from the table, drawing attention as he moved through the establishment, Azierr watching him with narrowed eyes as he approached the trio, having seen enough to be optimistic. He pulled a bag of coins from beneath his cloak and drew back his hood, his face neutral as he set the coins down on the table before them. "hello, I am looking for a guardian, so to speak, to accompany my sister while we are here on business. Preferably someone clean and of some training who will be able to...keep track of her. This will be the first of the payment for whomever agrees and there will be more dependent on the length of time we are here and how long you remain in our employ."He offered a smile as his sister shot him a murderous look from the table that spoke of future retribution, muttering of hard headed idiots who would be the end of her. "She is a bit adventurous and a tad stubborn but doesn't lack in common sense ...often, as long as you can keep up with her" His eyes scanned the trio, meeting the eyes of each of them.

Lou's eyes grew large at the amount of cash on Lorcan's table, still doing her best to hide her surveying when a pair of people walked in, even with cloaks on they seemed to say I have money. "Maybe there's a better mark." she thought adjusting her body to face them instead. When they approached her other mark she smiled large, things were just getting better and better. 'They need an escort, hm...' she mused, leaving her table. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but over hear you were looking for somebody to help protect your sister. I'd be happy to help." she offered. Her mind spinning as she tried to make plans, hoping this would be a better score.

Lorcan cocked an eyebrow, his smile lessening for a second. "Oof, Laddie, that don't look too good! Glad you're alive!"

His hand went for the knife strapped to his knee as someone tall approached. He eyed the man. Tall, handsome, young(ish) and well dressed. Royalty no doubt, and giving them all a tiny fraction of what he probably could actually pay to... To what?

Escort, no bodyguard no babysit...

Yes, use that!

"Ya want us ta babysit for ya, huh?" He sniffed his armpit, and scratched the dried blood from his face. "I can easily be bathed by tomorra, but I don't think you can afford ta pay us!" He said, a sly grin on his face. He kicked Jason under the table, urging him to keep quiet, remembering the last time he tried to get more money from someone, Jason had ruined it.

From an eyebrow being raised and a grin on his face, his brows furrowed as someone else walked up. He turned his eye to her, the grin quickly disappearing.

"Overhear being the keyword here. MAN, I hate bloody eavesdroppers..."

We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say "Kiss my Irish ass! ya better kiss my Irish ASS!"

Jason nodded to Val as she considered bounty hunting. "It's usually an easy line of work. Just knock some heads, bring something to show you killed the bounty, and you're done." At this point she was looking elsewhere. Jason followed her gaze to the man walking towards them. He seemed like the uptight, strict, and basically a "no fun" sort of royalty. Nevertheless, by the way he held his bag of gold, he seemed to be willing to pay for some kind of job or another.

Jason popped his back and sat up straight as Lorcan began to speak. The young man jerked his foot back as Lorcan kicked him in the shins, however he didn't show any outward signs. The former knight glanced to the former eavesdropper, but made no comment. Once his old friend was done talking to the man, Jason cleared his throat, brushed off his noble cape, and said "What my friend here is trying to say is that we would be glad to escort you and your sister. We simply need much more gold if you wish to hire either of us, considering we're the best protection you can find on this side of the kingdom, or any other kingdom for that matter." He smiled and extended his hand, saying "But where are my manners? My name is Sir Jason Sov, former elite guard to the kingdom of Terrassen, and by extension its royal family. It's a pleasure to meet you."

What a nuisance pain was. Orion's pain was blocking his magic somehow. But now it was beginning to subside thanks to a liquid he had lapped up which had also caused him to gag and sneeze. In his grumbling wolf voice he spoke to his new friend, "Find the sapling rune on my thigh, and activate it with water style magic." He said. Most healing magic was based in what his tribe called 'water style'. He took shallow breaths as he waited for her to comply.

[ do you require a CS if I bring in another character, or can I just write them in? Sorry it's short I wanted to put something]

Ooc/ I've had a bit of writer's block, sorry about my absence 😅 BUT IM BACK AND READY TO PARTY (AND BY PARTY I MEAN WRITE, well a least a little bit)

Athena followed the woman quickly. Stepping over rubble as they cleared the construction work being done on the wall, it took all of her balance not to fall flat on her face. She was in credibly clumsy when she got nervous, and she was beyond nervous as they attempted to sneak back into the city. Luckily for her, the clinic was fairly close to the battle-scarred wall and she didn’t have to worry for long.

The tension in her body had gone completely unnoticed until the small group reached the clinic and the tanned woman could finally breathe easy once again. This was not an ordeal she wanted to go through again, her nerves could only take so much. I’ll make it a point not to stay out after curfew from now on. She giggled nervously to herself, entering the clinic last. She normally felt quite awkward and unwanted in the homes or workplaces of others, but Athena felt immediately at home in this place; Something about the myriad of books, the rustic cottage decor and the warm feeling wafting from the fireplace that filled the room really made her feel at home. It actually reminded her a lot of her own childhood home, before the fire engulfed its entirety. Still, she could feel how uncomfortable the pale woman was with the two strangers in her home so she tried to stay to herself as much as she could.

She had wandered to the fireplace to let her body soak in the heat and let her mind wander when the woman mentioned her food pantry. The woman seemed to immediately disregard her and turned her attention to the injured shifter. I had completely forgotten about the beast. Almost immediately after this thought, her stomach growled and she mumbled an embarrassed “Thank you” before heading into the kitchen-like area. Her sight gravitated towards a bowl of ripened fruit that had been laid out, and she could smell the remnants of bread and some type of fish or game meat. Fighting the urge to rummage through the woman’s items and eat everything within grasp, she picked up a vibrantly red apple and took took a tentative bite. Athena let out a deep moan of pleasure as she chewed and continued to devour the fruit. It had been hours since she had eaten and she allowed herself to have another piece of fruit, feeling shame almost immediately. She had done nothing to deserve this and felt that she had no real right to eat this stranger's food.

She's hardly a stranger now, is she Athena?

White tiger would observe in silence, bemused by the haste the human had taken with quick movement once food had been mentioned. The food pantry was filled with what appeared to be recent kills of small doe, plenty hare and other rodents and one or two cattle. Though hides had already been skinned and meat prepared in a more frozen portion of the room to keep the meats as fresh as possible. On the other end there was a plethora of fruits and harvested vegetables – separate from the meats to keep them from being soiled or tarnished. Black indigo eyes would blink, surprised to see how quickly she had devoured the apple. His shoulders would roll in a shrug as she would take another – if she was hungry, she should eat. The tiger would simply lounge on wood-floor as the fire-dancer indulged in light cuisine.

Back in the sitting room, Morgäna kept to his side upon placing the marble bowl at his nose. His reaction to the taste was something to be expected. She did warn him it did have a foul taste to it. Her shoulders would fall in loose composure, satisfied the medication had been consumed. She was use to more unruly and stubborn patients, even though she was one to talk. She often pushed others away if they even attempted to offer some kind of care or aide to her. It was a waste of their breath and time, and not only that, she needed to keep her identity beneath closed curtains. Attention was drawn back to the wolf, uttering of some kind of sapling – rune and the practice of water magic. Her head would tilt curiously as she focused her magics. She would gather water from the natural moisture in the air, just enough to form a small water sphere. Small as it was, it took a lot of magic and physical energy from her. With simple motion of her fingers, the cold water would splash onto black hairs of the wolf's thigh.

She felt as if the wind had been knocked from her lungs, palms hitting the cotton rug upon wooden floor. She was more inclined with her fire magics an a few other elements, water was one of the ones she'd still been practicing. Though she had been practicing it in a different form – perhaps slightly more forbidden but in means of protection and keeping others from getting too close or invading personal space. “You should probably rest..” she huffed, trying to keep her composure – reaching for the nearest sturdy object be it a chair or table-leg to stand. Morgäna took a moment to collect herself, it was evident she was exhausted. Though she'd continue to keep herself busy – making her way towards the kitchen where she would find the tiger and the human girl. “I find it strange that the guards would force you out, considering you're a human.” Cool hum would inquire upon the girl, disregarding whether she'd startle her or not. Even if the kingdom was technically ruled by her kind – her current missing, possibly deceased parents now, it sounded as if the humans were perhaps taking advantage of this. This was some what concerning, however she wasn't about to speak out, not with the possibility of being discovered. Monsters shouldn't bear a crown – she thought.

She hadn't completely forgotten of the human, and had simply entered to check up on her. With the man in a bit more of a serious condition – since he'd been tended to, she was curious of the well-being of her. Morgäna was in complete work mode. “How long has it been since you've had a decent meal?” Scrutinizing glower fell upon the shifter woman from the white tiger, he let out a lowly grumble; without breathing name. “You've exhausted your energy.” she'd clearly ignore his fact, arms crossed over her bosom awaiting a response from the fire dancer girl.

ooc: if you could make a character sheet, you don't have to do it here in the forum, but in our OOC forum - that would be awesome <:
