Shinny gave me so I think I just might whack her upside the head with it & see if she doesn't up with a better reward tomorrow... ;)

It is a stout beer that has been aged in rum casks/barrels and the coconut is just for flavor. Profile wise, it tastes heavy like a stout, but there is a sweetness to it from the rum cask and it tastes stronger than a regular stout. It's a similar kick like an imperial stout. Then there is coconut on the finish.

I haven't even started bqs for today yet, but if I finish, can I have one of those? I haven't been into beers in ages, but I used to be quite the fan before I had kids & quit keeping liquor around. I had a friend in grad school who used to drink with me & we were into trying beers from new breweries, etc... tons of fun. Ah... I miss disposable income....

Haha yes but only if you finish! I used to hate beer, but my boyfriend kept having me try different ones until I got used to the taste. It took years for that to happen. I didn't start liking beer until grad school. I go through phases with beer for which I am in the mood for, but I never get tired of the barrel aged stuff. They have a lot of really bold flavors going on. Heh, the least my job can do is give me disposable income, especially after days like yesterday.

Congrats! Sometimes it just takes some luck with chain freezing or more stats lol. Keep doing your BQs and training every day and it makes battling get a little easier each time.

YAY! You've got them, so you've got time to whittle away at them. I don't even have my 10 wins on the castle yet -- so yes -- you definitely have some tough going ahead of you. Glad you got them tho... You never know for sure when you'll be able to get them again.

I finished them yesterday... lol Yeah, I know -- back to the grindstone. It will take me less time to do the bqs than it would to price all the various boosters to figure out the best deal to get the equivalent in stats. Plus, bqs are MUCH cheaper! lol

You and my hubby would get along well. He's into craft beers and works at a nano brewery. hugs

is right. We've all been in that same boat where you try to beat someone and it's impossible so you wait until you are a little stronger and try again. Sometimes, it looks possible to beat an opponent but only under the right circumstances and if you make the right choices during battle so you keep battling and taking the losses in the hopes of getting to 5 or 10 wins. Perseverance and dedication is what makes a great battler. The newest bane of my existence is Rouland. 47 losses for 3 wins so far and I am hoping to be able to finish him off next year. I even have 48 losses against bonesaw, an extremely hard challenger, with my T6 all because my first battle with him I ALMOST won. His health was down in the red so I figured if I could come close I could win. 48 losses and 0 wins, never came as close as I did that first time around lol. I just got lucky. I would have made it an even 50 losses but he went back into retirement before I could try again.

and we keep trying! I hope they bring him out again periodically so you can whoop 'im!
