Chain-freezing is a great idea! But it's only a 10% chance on the rapier. Is that really worth swapping another of my weapons for? Isn't it just as easy to go in with Perilous Whirlpool and a Glaciating Pylonic? I have room for my two PWs if I exchange the Feather Explosion Scroll for my Divine Denizhen.

what weapons did you use?

a couple of Oblivijhen scrolls in addition to 's recommendations (Fatal Fire scrolls are what saved my ass last year when I had no fire blocker/a substandard dark blocker lol) might come in handy too if you haven't got any magma defense. they use 7 AP and block 75 magma.

- Gift of the Forj scroll. Heals 1500, blocks 3 of everything, deals fire/light/magma damage.

I used Cronus Blade and Tainted Keeper Skull Staff along with Ocean Current Scroll. I forgot to change back to Skelly but oh well it worked.

Also many freezer scrolls to try and chain freeze when he did not have his anti-freeze blessing up.

Hello all! I've been slowly trying to get into regular battling and I just recently got my battle pet Salamando up to tier 4 and was wondering if anyone could suggest any good yet not-too-expensive tier 4 battle weapons?

Forj scroll...okay... don't have that either XD Actually, I lose to Forj Matriarch, the Erupting too....maybe I should get the scroll from her first? any ideas for weapons against her? obv. water damage right....?

Chain freezing worked (after a lot of tries)! Now I've got three wins! Though I had to use a Negating Pylonic to give myself a final attack.

D: this sounds super serious. You said they were taking some blood work?

I didn't even know it was possible to chain freeze rouland, I don't think I've ever seen his blessing not activated on the first turn.

- Prodigy staff and unstable sample syringe is the best combo for Forj, lots of water icons + blocking fire and magma. Water attack baguettes or parched mods. Ocean currents is the best scroll against her (I have one I'm not using if you want to borrow). Also Perilous Whirlpools.

It is but... you have to be super lucky.... He's a jerk still... all the same.

yeah they're testing for a fungal disease you can only get around here. haven't heard anything back yet - which may be a good thing. might simply be a stupid cough

You can borrow my syringe if you'd like? All I'd ask is if you'd replace the mods :)

[edit] You could also try Cursed Liquid Fire Torch instead of Pstaff? idk how others feel about it, buts its one of my favourite weapons. 14-17 fire icons & 20-23 water icons. Also blocks 40 fire icons. heals 7% the blessing is pretty useless against forj though lol

Halfway there and the last win was about the most heart-stopping so far- he crit me down to 84 HP and at first glance I thought we had tied! But man, the higher his health keeps climbing the less certain I am of hitting 10 wins. I'm going to keep trying off and on over the next couple of days though. Kudos to everyone managing 10 wins, and to those who are able to pull off even one, Rouland can be a real jerk when he wants to.
