Ok guys, I give up. What weapons do you recommend against the castle? I got wins 1 and 2 with OHS, trident, and cronus, but I'm stuck now.

I think my wins came with Skull staff + cronus for the first half or so of the battle, then switched cronus for natasha once it started not doing magma as often? it's been awhile but I think that's how I did it.

Skull staff? Not familiar with that (but I haven't been around for a year and a half, so not surprising). I don't have natasha (sigh) because I have pbow, but maybe I should save up for one... :/

castle is one of those challengers where a multitude of different weapons will work though, just keep trying different things :)

Yeah, it's just frustrating because I've just hit t13, so by all means, I should be able to get at least 5 wins (considering the former cap). But also, I've forgotten all battle strategy and am just going for brute force now, which probably isn't helpful...

them morostide plot two years ago I think it was?

Yeah with the weapons I used, I got to 10 wins before I got to t13 I'm pretty sure, so you can do it. don't forget pylonics and shards too, they can be a lifesaver in close battles

Ahaha, was that the plot with the skelly scroll? I keep getting screwed over by that stupid plot! I was traveling when it happened and missed EVERYTHING. And keep being reminded of it.

I forgot all that stuff existed. I think I still have a ton from mbox'ing way back in the day, though. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah it was. I lucked out and got a staff =)

they can all be a pain to use because you have to reload them all each time but if you're down to very little health, they can keep you alive and help you survive another turn, so it turns a tie into a win sometimes

That's awesome, congrats! I'm not sure how I managed to get an mw that year but didn't participate in the battle plot? Was Rouland extended that year due to errors? I can't remember if it was that year or the year before.

I think that's probably why I don't have any equipped, haha. I should probably go equip some...

finished my battle quests but boy so many errors this morning :( afraid for what that will give if morostide starts

I hope they can sort out the problem before going on with Morostide. They get ding for taking too long to bring it out and dinged for bringing it out too soon with lag/errors.
