Aw I wish you posted earlier yesterday when I was online! Were you able to defeat bonesaw 5 times? c:

11 losses between win # 4 and at last win # 5, had a handful before win # 4. Freeze, get frozen, suicide. Freeze, get hit with her anti-scroll curse, suicide. Shriek and Psycho Smasher failed far more often than they hit. Bought about 15 Negating Pylonics. Had her down to 219 health and she uses the Phoenix Quill she stole off of my two or three turns prior and proceeds to stomp Kilroy into the ground as I'd spent everything viable to that point(between losses 42-46). The rage she managed to brew up inside of me is still bubbling even as I type this.

I think I need to buy a punching bag.

Anyone can battle a foe and do the 10 wins/0 losses thing. It takes the heart of a true warrior to go against the odds and keep with it even though the losses are piling up. People who only tackle easy foes are not impressive. It's the people who push themselves to the limit -- the people who are always asking, "What's next?" -- THOSE are the people who command my respect. Those who travel the more difficult path, who reach for the stars -- they are the battlers I will proudly stand with. Kudos!

Had a '''productive''' day at work and started going through currencies etc for books for Economy. They're up to 19 AP, so enough for Ocean Currents. I'd like to bring them up to enough for a Lucky Scroll, too, as it should help them blitz the early challengers. I've raided Steamworks, L'Amour Parlour, Esther's, Carnival Shop and Graveyard rewards primarily. Still got a lot of Book Nook stuff to work through. Any other recommendations? I'm surprisingly low on Quest Points, unfortunately, otherwise I'd mine them.

Don't forget other old holiday/events (Morostide, etc.) that don't have their own shops, and there are gaming rewards like Slots as well. SubetaLodge can be a great resource for tracking down those titles. If all else fails, look at what other users pets have been reading. Good Luck! ;)

Ahhh yup going through the Lodge lists at the moment! :) I wouldn't know what to do without them! I've also picked up a couple of titles I missed for Algebra along the way, who I've become totally lazy about reading to as I don't remember the last time I needed more AP for scrolls. I think I might have to tackle the Nook tomorrow, hoping for a trove of bargains awaiting me.

Ok so my T6 came super close to beating bonesaw on the very first battle but since then just couldn't seal the deal. Oh well, I wanted to just be able and say it is possible to beat bonesaw with a t6 x.x I got really lucky with freeze rates I guess. Next time I will be prepared with the pylonics.
