idk if its the case for lower tiers (since the incremental damage might be more noticeable).

blasting is meh since bosses usually have like 50x of each weapon lol.

Blocking requires luck and over time its just not statistically dependable. E.g. if you manage to block his 1203324dmg 1 time over 50 tries, you are better off just attacking those 50 times.

Since bosses 1hKO, full heals are generally useless unless the bosses normal attacks damage you alot.

then again, it all depends. so take this with a grain of salt.

Your set is pretty much identical to mine, save for the attackers - I've got a and . I find the healing on both to be helpful along with the occasional blessing from the trident for longer battles. The trident is pretty expensive, though, and I'm sure someone at some point has already recommended that you buy it - I'm not sure if I totally recommend it if you have just the one battle pet, since it's mostly useful for scaling throughout all the tiers, but moving forward it becomes (sort of?) just as useful as a lot of other, cheaper weapons. My point is it might be wiser to spend the ~500m on something else.

The gutting knife is relatively inexpensive and has a nice blessing for steal protection if that's ever a problem you run into - might be worth looking into.

For battles where full healing or blocking or blasting isn't as necessary (depending on who I'm battling) I like to switch in an or for some extra damage. Just some fun stuff to make battles a few turns shorter or maximize my damage output if I need it.

What are your scrolls like?

When battling bosses, I like to do full block + freezer on first turn, so I get a free turn next. If I chain-freeze, even better. Thanks for the advice!

Oh I already have the knife, I just like the Chakrams a little better. And yeah, the Trident has been sitting on my wishlist for quite a while now. I didn't have the Deadwood Scissorbeak though, going to check that one out. Thank you! Oh, and I use the Assassin scroll.

I guess you could also upgrade your freezer to the but I think that the extra damage from the specs is more useful than the blessing/defense from the helmet, especially if your weapons are equipped with parched mods.

Not that I know of, which is why I'm still using the Acorn Bomb. I don't know that bombing is such an integral part of battling here - I mostly keep it in my armory as muscle memory that goes back to Neopets where bombing was essential.

Tier 10 sees introduced, but good luck getting your hands on one of those - and I believe the new 5th loot drop from the CS challenger is a bomb - for Tier 11, though. I guess we'll see if that makes any changes as to whether or not bombing becomes a more essential part of battling strategies in higher tiers.

Will be interesting to see what the big boss blocks. ;O I mean if you can get decent damage on the first round even while being ko'd then doesn't make much sense to try to freeze for a free turn unless your freezer does considerable damage as well?

If you're using scientist specs + full block and a damaging/bomb scroll, over a couple hundred battles, I think the damage would significantly add up - at least to put you above someone with that same stats who fought the same number of battles but didn't freeze first turn.

I like using bombs for bosses, since I don't have too many turns to maximize damage.

Thank you! :D The thing is that, if I attack and get ko'd on my first turn, I'll do some damage. If I use it to freeze, I'll damage on my second turn. But I'll do damage on my third turn too, so I believe it's worth it.
