do you have to find the fish to get that new challenger in the fishing game?

I want to say the grumpy fish is a random find? I found him on my second try, although I did get pretty close to the correct spot when I got him. I've never actually fished up the treasure in that game.

You can get close by using math though. Start in one of the corners, then move to the next corner - depending on what he says, you can cut off half the map, then move across to the next corner to narrow it down to a quarter of the map. Eventually you'll get close enough.

Wasn't toooo hard, managed to clinch all 10 wins without a loss. First few turns were almost most risky as you're exposed without your Parched; later on she's just tanky but it was easy to outheal her. Went in with Ancestral Unrest + Trident, should have probably swapped out the former for ME in later battles but didn't prove a problem.
