Frig, this month has just been nuts, haven't done any BQs, haven't had time to do much questing, let alone time to deal with EPICon points, but man... To all Battlers Please hear me out .... Am I the only one that does battle quest and is getting tired of getting challenged by General Error as an Impossible Challenger during BQ and beating him and only getting a Extremely Hard Token .... I have asked 3 or 4 times now if this can be fixed I keep getting the same bullshit answer from that is not a bug or problem and that its ok for us battlers to get rip off of the tokens we are supposed to be getting for beating a Impossible Challenger ... I keep getting told that this is not a bug and its not .... What it is .. is a problem that they are not willing to address the answer given is total bullshit .... Either remove him as a Impossible Challenger from BQ or make it to where he gives a Impossible Token when you beat him .... If it is possible to make him a Impossible Challenger then you should be able to fix what kind of Token he drops if not like I said REMOVE him as a Challenger

[edit] he isn't an impossible challenger, and there's nothing in the description saying that levels 26-30 are only for impossible challengers. token drop rate went way up when BQs were revamped. before, getting a token from them was not frequent. honestly I like him in those level ranges, he's the quickest challenger in that range and getting him speeds up my quests a little bit. if you're really after the impossible tokens, just use your skips against general error. in time you'll get your tokens, and eventually you'll have so many that you don't even care if you get one or not

I have no idea what 's bullshit answer is you didn't link to it and it doesn't show in Administrative Posts. It's typical for the BAs to just post here in Battle Chat as if everyone were super obsessive about battle and would read all the posts here, and I just don't do that.

I don't agree with you, Battle Quests are not the same as regular challenges. The rewards for doing them are less and different from those than what you'd get if you had to fight the same challenger tougher every time you defeat it in the Battle Coliseum. You may not remember this but when BQs first came out they dropped Battle Tokens equal to the rate as regular Coliseum, and then many battlefolk complained and it was changed so it didn't drop any, and after awhile some other battlefolk complained and now it drops at one in ten instead of one in three.

As Impossible Challengers go? General Error is a pansy with a glass jaw once you have weaponry that can chock in freeze/steal blocking mod crystals.

I shouldn't have to skip that challenger and even if I do it is more then likely he will be back on the very next challenge ....and as far not getting the correct token I will never have enough of them and I will always care about how many I have .... I also think Battle Quest should be challenging not just run through them all as fast as I can because its convenient too I like to battle my pets for a challenge .... If I remember correctly that when the BQ were revamped it stated that each group of five would go from Easy to Impossible ... I just want to know Y they won't fix the problem they keep saying its not a bug of course its not a bug IT IS A PROBLEM THEY DON'T WANT TO FIX

well once your pet is at a certain point, there are seldom real challenges. if you want a real challenge, you really have to bq with a weaker pet. well when they were first revamped, it was no exp for the first four and exp for the bunch on the 5th win. nothing about set difficulties, just how they grouped them together. sure they may have lined up with difficulties. taking GE out of the last grouping of challengers really makes it the same 3 people over and over again. there aren't many impossible challengers - maybe more of the newer ones could be added but I don't think GE really needs to be taken out.

it's not really a problem though, the admins decided it should be that way and don't agree with you that it is a problem.

look I know all about how and when and what they did in the revamp there are a lot of Impossible Challengers they could bring in to fight that drop the right token they are just to lazy to address the problem all they ever do is put a band-aid on something broken not really fixing the problem just slowing it down a little bit just so they can say they did something so amazing but in reality they haven't done shit to fix it

I don't think that was a bullshit answer, sorry. Maybe it's just too goddessdamn fucking hot where you are right now ? I know my part of the US is miserable and it just so happens that I'm on the down cycle of my bipolar right now but if I weren't I'd be biting someone's head off too. Anyways when the current iteration of BQs was implemented with the challengers categorized into harder and harder chunks instead of just being random, the Impossible chunk was just a few challengers and folks complained about how boring the final chunk was. If you can do the other challengers in that set, GE can be a minor challenge if you are unlucky so he kinda sorta can be a fun lark for this set, IMO.

Nobody has earned an Impossible Token from GE. "Earn" is not the right word here.

Me, I train all of my pets, so if a Challenger isn't an entertaining fight with one of them I switch to a different weaker one, and if a Challenger is tougher or harder to beat with my current battlesets scrollsets and battlepet, so that the pet I'm doing most of my BQs with will get stomped, I will switch to a stronger one. YMMV.

I kind of have to agree with what people already said: At some point, all BQ challengers will be a breeze. I wouldn't want to have it another way, if the impossible challengers always stayed impossible even while I was training and training; then I'd kind of loose the motivation to try and catch up. At least now I can see the progress. If I want a challenge, I use my smaller pets. I also got plenty impossible tokens from BQs, more than I know what to do with. I could downgrade them and get boosters, but I'd probably regret that later when something new gets added to the shop. I also agree that if GE would be taken out of the impossible pool, there wouldn't be a lot of challengers left. Indeed, maybe they could add some of the newer impossible challengers to widen the pool a bit. But that's still not a real reason to take GE out. Think of people with smaller pets who can't beat all the challengers yet. Maybe they can beat GE but none of the real impossible challengers. Then they'd be happy to find GE at those levels, since they can get a bit more exp than when another challenger would have shown up. Is it fair to those players to suddenly take GE out, so that they have no chance at all to gain exp in the higher BQ levels?

- I should have just spent all my points the first day on magic enhancers and been like f* it to the other items that were on my WL that I no longer really want. It was those stupid WL items that I was debating over, and now that they cost 15mill+ I REALLY don't want them.

It is too hot here in Fresno to even think of going out and doing battle quests, so I've really not thought of the issue with tokens. Furthermore, Madison hates GE so much that if she ever did beat him, she would probably pee on him before she took one of his tokens, so I have no experience with which one he 'gives out,' when he loses. She's like that, you know. She pees on her enemies first, then asks questions later.

I don't think there's anywhere that has said guaranteed that the last 5 BQ challengers should be 'Impossible', and certainly GE is up there in terms of difficulty. The same could be said for other lower levels in BQs, some opponents are easier/harder than others.

Having GE in the rotation is great for people with smaller pets, who cannot beat some opponents such as Crawbeast etc.

If you don't like GE, skip it (I do, cos I want the Impossible tokens and GE can be a butt with his RNG freezes), I don't think it's unfair to say it is not a glitch or bug when it isn't.

It's nice to know GE has a small chance to drop an Impossible token though, I didn't know that :)

Me. I just grind them out for the EXP. When I'm running close to midnight to finish my BQs I love it when I get GE. But yeah I don't pay attention to tokens. It would be okay if he went down to his rightful category and brought in a new impossible challenger to the mix.

I am all for GE to be in the imp category for BQ's, since there is not very many imp challengers. Plus it is great for those that are still on the smallish side and can get some extra exp. I think it does not need to be changed.

In other news....got 3 amulets from Quentin and got 2 tomes. woohoo!
