How do you all feel about splitting BQs? My main battler is low end T12, and can't beat the really big guys yet, so my original plan was to give him all the BQs until he can do so. But things like the Gelly War really make me wish my littles weren't quite so little. So what do you all do? To split or not to split?

Thank you, very happy with my progress so far this year. Got 3 more tier 11 pets super close to 12 themselves and all will make it this summer. :D Yup, 7 at least tier 12 pets with 3 more coming soon this summer. XD

I tried splitting BQs for like 2-3 weeks, decided it was much more fun to see one pet grow faster and that I'd just boost the next pet if he couldnt beat a BQ opponent in time lol. Clearly it wasnt for me, but if you don't have the funds for big boosting, it's probably most efficient to split if youre making an army.
So back when I start battling several years ago, I remember being told by some of the more experienced battlers that the ostaff was the best of the god weapons and is all I would ever really need once my pet was stronger and could actually stand a chance. Mind you, this was back way before tiers and a pet with stats in the 300s could actually beat opponents like GE with godlies and what not. With all the new T12/T11 weapons out there now, all the new challengers and tier system, is ostaff still the best out there? Can it still really help you in a pinch or are things like Natasha better options now? Has ostaff just become another novelty like SoSS?
I have two pets I consider my battle pets that I used to train evenly way back when until I decided who would be my main focus. Now that my main is mid T11, my second has just started getting some of the early on battle quests. Not all the time yet but the plan is to be a little more consistent with the second to get him up to T8 or T9 by the end of the year. My plan in general is to start training my pets in groups of two.
The way opponents are now, you generally need to be blocking specific icon types and applying a variety of strategies from opponent to opponent and so any given weapon is generally far less versatile now especially with tiers. That being said, if there was one godly I would want in my set, ostaff would be second only after kwand. it's still got a pretty awesome blessing, arguably the best of the best constant's blessings and its obviously got a solid attack and 100 earth defence is great for any opponent doing a lot of earth. It's certainly a god weapon that to me, retains its god status even amongst all the new weapons that are around now. i'd also argue that SoSS is still generally best in slot for water blockers. Their prices still aren't justified as weapons though, you're better off getting OHS or skelly staff even for earth and MW for water.
Sometimes I split BQs and sometimes I don't. It depends on what goals I'm working on at the time. With multiple default weapon and scroll sets it is extremely easy to do now! I am currently splitting BQs between a t9, that I want to reach t11 by years end, and a t12, who is very close to t13. The t9 pet will have the toughest time of any of my pets of reaching their tier goal this year, so he is getting a lot of attention right now.
Can your main pet complete all 30 BQs daily? If not, I wouldn't split BQs until he is big enough to do so. Then I would start splitting.
I'm still beefing up my main pet with BQs and my second pet gets auto-training daily. Good, I'm off to buy the OHS. I'll be so broke... :(
In other news... I'm done with BQs. yes

I don't think there's ever been a time where 1 weapon was all you would ever need. I agree with Mike, Ostaff is my 2nd favorite behind Kwand. The blessing is amazing but so are all the freezes on the Kwand! I also agree that a lot of weapons are not worth their price tag unless you just have so much sP that you don't know what to do with it all :) I would always rather have enough demi-godly weapons to defend each icon than one godly weapon that will defend only 1 icon.
I never split BQs before and just saved up sp to boost the next in line so that pet can take over all BQs but now that I have multiple tier 12s to work with at once and more pets that I'm training/will be training will start splitting when pet is ~1-2k stats from tier 13.

Good to know! Ok not like the only weapon I would ever need, but if I could afford to buy one that would be the one. I completely forgot the stats on the kwand other than it freezes. I always thought godlies were overpriced but since I never used one I never knew if they were really worth the investment. I've been debating removing the ostaff from my wish list since I already have ohs. It sounds like I'll be just fine without it. Thanks!
You can always borrow mine and see if it's worth buying for you! Just let me know :)
- I started splitting my BQs when my main got to the point of beating all 30 quests.
- OHS is the next on my hit list too. Ostaff would be nice, but I don't have billions of sP to spend.

Ok, that's 6 of 13 pets coming into this year who reached their INT goal. 7 more left, will worry about the INT goal for all new battlers this year, next year maybe. Might get some work this year, I'll see.

You're so sweet. I'm good.
Yep, totally agree. After that I'm going to buy a Ether so I can delete it for that silly achievement. And then buy another one for my armory. LOL.

Ok. Good luck with the ethers! You are a mad woman, haha!
- I don't aspire to own or delete an Ether.
- Nice. I wish I could get the mage to be that nice to me. I haven't seen a tome in months (I also no longer have a GA, and haven't been frequently doing quentin quests, but still)
I have not had any urge to buy OHS since I have skull staff.
