Just used close to 100k EXP, pouring most of it on Health. Either I should start buying mage amulets/the cheaper boosters, or start equipping Dark ____ Potions to my pet.

That or change my scroll set.

yes please on the 4 hour wave and only 1 of them counts! ideally come up with a couple different ideas on how global bosses should go and hold a poll but i think most of us agree that "whoever can stay sane for 12-20 hours of pure battling gets the prize" is cruel and unusual.

my vote is 3-4 waves of infinite health 4 hour fights. ur wave with ur highest damage is the one that counts so even if u only can get to one wave you can have a decent chance, many of us do pretend to have lives after all. then hold one final wave that doesnt count towards the count where it has like 20m health and "is on its last leg" so we can all fuss over who gets to make the final blow (or just do away with the final blow part)

and if ya feel bad about giving out a ton of god weapons to pets under tier 10 when they hardly contributed then only award like the top 3 in each category under tier 10 instead of 20 or however many you plan. sure they cant use em but they can train or they can sell to those who missed it. new battlers can always use a stack of cash to help em buy better gear and training.

just my two cents. may not be the best method, but i do know the current method sucks.

Considering how many of those are one-hit KO's, I have a lot to do... But I also have to finish studying for a major exam at 08:00 tomorrow (it's 20:51 where I live.)

It would be interesting to see a future boss battle with one wave limit per pet - not that you cant participate in more than one wave, but only the best wave counts - that way if someone unknowingly chips in a bit at the end of a wave, they aren't penalised for it

I can see where battle veterans are coming from, but I got somewhere between 100 to 200 fights in with a T9 pet against Tempest. Sure, a good number were one-hit KO's, but iirc the top damage I've been able to deal was 10k (nothing when stacked against the millions of damage you guys can deal) and I'd be able to do at least 700~1k in a single round. Yes, I'm still T9 now, but that's my fault for going on hiatus.

I'm just saying, not all of us who have pets below T10 are trying to freeload. Tempest was actually the first time (and I fell short of the tier that had the stormy wardrobe overlay and shield, but that was fine. I just enjoyed being able to participate in a boss fight at all.)
