My new baby I started in Jan is now a tier 5. I need to get cracking and working on some battling again. I have so been slacking.

Hmm, what to do with my boosters. Before I always used them on my main battle pet, but she reached t13 not too long ago. Maybe I should try to catch up with my smaller pets? Or still keep the boosters for the t13 pet since exp costs and training times are crazy?

What about intel boosters, should I use them on the smaller pets? Their int is totally crap and I can barely equip an Aftershocks scroll and that's it.

well what I did was I decided to select one of my little battler pets and bring them up to tier 12. She gets all the boosters, and gets the BQ's.

But then also with a tier 13 the exp does get expensive. Do a split maybe?

That's the question I keep asking myself since the cap was raised. Mathematically it makes more sense to use boosters on T13 pets since training takes so long and EXP is so expensive. The problem for me is my T13s is they can beat every opponent so why not use the boosters on smaller pets so they can get more wins? That's what I've been doing. I know some people keep boosting their T13s because they're worried about rank. Rank is a secondary benefit to me. I'm more concerned with getting the battle wins and loot.

I have a really hard time using boosters on any one else but my main :'( She's my baby and I want her BIG AND STRONG. Also exp is so much cheaper for the littles....not that I ever battle with them anyway.

But then you wind up with literally the dumbest t12 little (800 intel aka like 2 scrolls I'm the worst owner ever I didn't even notice when he hit t12 oops)

My 2nd pet has around 26k base stats with around 4.4k intel and she didn't have much trouble getting at least 5 wins on any opponent. If my pet just reached T13, I would want to keep boosting up to around 25k base stats before I started working seriously on a 2nd pet.

My 3rd and 4th pets are about 24k base stats with 2.7k intel. I'm working my way through all opponents with them now so I'll know soon how they fare. They both had 5 wins on the castle before the reset so I think they can get 5 wins on everybody except roid RB now. I'm pretty happy with that 2.7k intel. My 5th pet is at 2155 intel, which I don't think is enough but I have other Intel boosting goals before KT gets more intel.

IMO if your secondary pet cant beat all BQ opponents you should be boosting it so you're not wasting xp, which sounds backwards at first, but in the long term since you're bound to cap your main pet anyhow, it's worth it. That's what I did at least, and I'm getting close to repeating the process for my third pet, but in both cases I've slowly built up a huge hoard of boosters just for the purpose.

I'd hoard my boosters except I still need some stat achievements :P

Hmmm. I'm using tomes, boosters, exp and what not on my main battler until I get the build I'm thinking about. She's a T13. Second battler gets training to T10. She's a T7. Then that's it. Maybe to T12 down the road. I'm going for 10k in HP. 9k in STR. 7 for def and speed. That's what I'm shooting for on my main pet.

Thanks all for the input! My second pet is only a t9, so it will take quite a while before they'll be able to beat all BQ opponents. My main pet is also not capable of beating all opponents 5 times yet (I'm looking at you, Meatslab!) I'll boost my main battler some more untill I can beat the opponents and I'll switch to my smaller pets afterwards.

I wouldn't use your Intel boosters on your littles personally. Just because you can get approximately 1,000-1,500 Intel for a good price by reading.

When books start getting expensive (1m/ea) that's when I'd intel boost. Just my opinion though :)

I reached t12 this week woop woop! I planned to start working on my second battle pet (a t9) but now I got at t12 I came to the conclusion my pet still sucks so i'll continue using my main for bq's anyway and just save sp for a boosting spree on my t9. It would only take about 160mil to get them to t10.
