Trying to catch up, The Mage is the second most annoying challenger I've ever fought (dethroning Lady of the Waters to number 3). Though I do see he is like what you get when you cross Gelatin Wizard and Sophie and make him Furious Meatslab difficulty.

True that, later this year pets and will take him on and I'm not looking forward to it other then exp and loot.

I've already decided to put him off. It is especially annoying when he steals your P-Quill, never lets you set up a chain freeze, and launches nukes at you.

However, I do think I have a new record for highest damage attack I've survived:

I guess that will be the case. The fact that Claire is nursing Violet is a likely reason why she is so tired out.
