Alright, got 6 of the 9 imp challenger re-fights that I wanted to get with Alacia done. Only the castle, furious, and mutant imp challengers left with Alacia and Aliivia. The mage and super challengers will be the last 3 challengers for them at a later date.

i just found something interesting. it appears that stat-scaled weapon is not affected by in battle stat boosting. i test with Featherweight Axe of Gusts with my speed 1367. since it boost 25 per round, i requires 6 rounds to get above 1500 speed to unlock next attack tier. but my attack is still the same after 6 rounds. so in battle stat boosting does not unlock next tier of the weapon.

Hm that is interesting, I was always sorta curious how exactly that worked. It doesn't surprise me though, but that is interesting :p

haha i wasn't expecting anything either. just testing around. could be fun if scaled weapon is affected by in battle boosting. make people appreciate them better.

I was told that this is something that could be changed with the other upcoming battle changes :D!

btw, does in-battle boost has a limit?

not afaik. I remember at one point using a Keiths Star Rod, which I think doesn't even exist anymore, and it would boost your strength/def like crazy (+500 or +1000 per round). Against one of the test challengers we had at some point that had 500K HP, your damage would be x10 between the start of the battle and the end

anyway, it's unlikely they would have since limited it

Trivia : You can tell the item used to exist and doesn't anymore by typing "Keiths Star Rod" in the shop search. The error message you get isn't the same as when you mistype an item name. It was a Keith only item that was eventually deleted when a few were accidentaly won in some NYE giveaway

Well, I don't think it does unless some weapons are limited on purpose but I don't really see it. I don't use boosting weapons much except from Cronus Blade and I hardly pay attention to see if it does anything, but surely it must.

I thought some of the lower tier boosting weapons had limits, but I don't even know what those are anymore.

I feel like lower tier weapons could indeed have limits. It's not stat boosting in itself that is limited, more of a per-weapon thing

Replica Blackmoons Staff and Replica Wand of the Phoenix are the same way with the search. They used to actually show up without an error but they had no item image or something like that, it was changed to that error a few months ago.
