Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part XD. Too bad, I think it'd be much more interesting if it switched reliably.

After getting some actual use out of it I can say it's definitely a really nice weapon to have. With def close to your opponents you're likely gonna mitigate phys just as much as ether would and the light/dark isnt negligible. Definitely worth its weight in csc.

Yeah I like it too. I like weapons that block more than one icon, I think they'll be pretty handy in the future.

They definitely were a nice change from the single icon overkill "full" block. Allows for some more weapon variety without making new best in slot weapons or ones that no ones going to use because they already have best in slot.

Skelly staff hasn't left my general use set since I got it. Even now that my pet I'm battling most with uses it in attack mode, the defense spread is still great, that icon typing is so nice!

Thats another thing about AU, the attack icon types don't stack the best with most other weapons, but it doesn't matter because they're not blocked as much.

they may actually turn out better for some battles too, and it makes higher defense builds practical.
