i like to use unstable fairy scroll it does not freeze on every turn but it does have a very good freeze chance but then iam using a tier 13 pet and using high end weapons as well.

Gelaspell scroll has a chance to freeze can be used each turn.

Just wanted to say I totally agree with this. This iteration is by far the fairest its ever been and I really appreciate all attempts to keep everything constant. Thank you, staff, for making it work!

do any of the new challengers count towards 'plot points', does anyone know? or is it just loot and fun?

I like the way it was done too and the times were good, I was able to take part in the 6pm boss as it worked well for my timezone, the other 2 times I had no chance. The 6 hour time frame was good too. Hope more are done this way in the future

I certainly appreciated the time zone thing as well. Waves 2/3 I knew I wouldn't see but 1 I certainly punched a lot in.

Also thanks for the Gelaspell suggestion, but I get down to about 5k health on the bugger and it's Instadeath next turn when he either freezes me or crit hits. I'm open to other solutions.

Just finished 10 wins on all the plot challengers. :) Just going to clean through the boppers while I'm at it. Didn't realise I didn't have the Ocean Currents scroll, so that's a nice addition to the library. How do y'all think it measures up to Skelly? I just swapped them over for the slight boost in attack.

Staff confirmed in news that these don't count toward plot points. They just have their own loot. :D

Sierrac Basal Ice Flail and Gelatin Concoction is what i used. the ice flail paired with your Gelaspell will give you good freeze chances. that with some healers should get you through.

the ice flail is an under appreciated weapon. I use it for most battles because of the freeze chances without taking the freezer spot

... Whoa... I'm super confused... I swear I won an impossible token for beating Cozcoatl after my first battle with him.... and after my third battle with him, I just won an extremely hard token. Did his rating get changed during my second battle?
