Anyone who battled in Tier 9 hanging around here? Just want to compare my output vs. someone in the same tier~

Yeah news post to me read as "We'll make it end as close to six hours as possible" so I wasn't surprised.

Despite their specificity, anyone who didn't read the spoiler/text ahead of time just got a rude wakeup call. The HP drop really shouldn't have been so last minute.

85 losses. I don't know if I'm going to wake up early for the 3rd round, but I might. I might just cross my fingers and be lazy.

Ick, not happy with my total battles but I have pretty high damage average so hoping at this point.

Wins: 0 Losses: 26 Ties: 0

I swear my battles lasted like 10 or more rounds. I think my average battles garnered between 30k to 70k a battle. They were so freaking long. I'm going to see if that happens in the next battle. I have to do better than 26. But still better than seven the last boss battle.

So, question for all of you - if any of you are available for the next two bosses, are you going to be battling with the same pet and try to beat your damage from tonight? Are you going to be battling with a pet from a different tier range for a shot at the other prizes? Any insight here?

But reading takes away from fighting time, LOL. I didn't even read any of the text myself; I just went straight from puzzle to battle.

I will be around for the start of the 2nd boss but not all of it so for me I don't think it's worth battling with the same pet to beat his damage from the first boss.

I might battle with a smaller pet but it won't be for all 6 hrs

I think I did a solid job with Crimsyn, so I'm going to head to bed now and battle with a different pet for the final round (maybe not for the full six hours).

My battles were really long too because I brought 7 freezers into battle and some of them lasted for 10+ turns. I dunno if it's better to do more damage and lose less or do less damage and just lose more.

Sounds like my little one. Except she chews on things whenever she wants attention, which is almost always. We ended up with a very social kitten, heh(well, I guess about a year and 3 months now). She also licks my nose as a greeting though, so I can't stay mad at her. :P

Wish I could stick around for the other battles, but I have Calc 1 at 1:30pm subeta time... /sigh Maybe next semester I can get classes on just 3 days instead of 4? /wishful thinking

Yeah. I kinda stopped using the scrolls after a bit. I think I'm going to try the second battle with my battle pet to see if I can do better than 26 losses.

I'm battling with my second battle pet for a little bit with the next boss without any freezers to see which strategy works better - more losses for more damage or more damage in less losses.
