Oh dear boy! Pearls are a daytime gem, but since women these days wear white sandals after Labor Day, it is clear that anything goes. I don't remember the last time I saw a woman use a real handkerchief instead of disposable tissue. Doesn't anyone iron anymore?

In Jack Benny years, I think that's 39.4 -- so I was close! Four tenths of a year isn't much -- we ARE pretty close in age. Although you are right -- you are older, but not by much! ;)
