That's still a really good set! I usually have the IH bomb in my set, partially because I came from Neo and you always needed a bomb over there :P but also because of the little curse it gives and it helps dispatch opponents quicker in BQs. I leave 2 main attackers in my default set but I have lots of options to switch those out when necessary. I remove my freezer and full blocker to add 2 extra weapons when I battle Chase since he steals so much!

i feel like my main attackers are stronger than the IH bomb though? or are my calculations wrong?

my only other decent attackers are: trident dark goddess rod ballista (i've never used this) Extendable Elemental Trident (never used this either) MCAB paintbrush blades Unstable Sample Syringe

& some other t9/10s. not that great :P

Cronus does 44 icons. IH bomb does 45 - 63 icons, so the worst case is 1 icon more. The bomb curse only does 3 icons but those are unblockable and last for 100 rounds.

I add the ih bomb with the thunderball and a lucky scroll. When I get a crit hit, it ends a lot of battles early!

thunderball and lucky scroll are two things i still need to get!

thunderball will be hard to find if you didn't win it in that RD :( I think January is the next Friday the 13th chance to win a lucky scroll.

Captured Eternal Flame is something I usually have in my default set too. It's the 5th win drop against Flamagia. It does 33 icons, has about a 33% chance to freeze, and has up to 4 curses if you have 4k+ speed.
