This is happening to me as well, I keep getting the Gateway errors. After noticing other mentions of things still being bought, I checked and yeah, that happened to me as well. Thankfully, they were all things I also had had on hand, so I can just replace them. Still, very annoying, especially for those who have lost a lot of sp. :/ Just trying to get Shinwa done and then I'm going to have to stop questing.

I'm having the same issue. It appears with some shops I get a 504 or Bade Gateway Error when I try to purchase an item from shops. More concerning however, seems to be the issue that I have when turning in items that I purchased, if I refreshed the page it says purchase failed. Sometimes when I check my inventory I notice that I have duplicates of the item was trying to purchase. I'm not entirely sure what's causing this glitch. But I'm guessing I've probably also been losing some sP as others have pointed out with this issue. I've been deleting the extra copies just in case.

I can buy from one shop while doing quests but the second item (if a second is needed) I try and get usually ends with the site crashing or timing out....

This happens every single time I try to buy something. A few hours later I'll have a ton of copies of the item in my inventory (as I'll try different shops to see if it helps).

Really sick of my GA time being wasted and not being able to quest.

I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed this hasn't even been acknowledged but an event that relies primarily on quests has been released. Even just a "we're aware of the issue and working on it" would have been nice. I know this has been an incredibly frustrating last few days for everyone, staff above all else, but dang. Acknowledgement isn't asking for a lot. :(

I've been having this problem for every thing I try to buy too. Sometimes the first item takes less refreshing to get than the second one, but the fact is, it still has to happen and I still end up with multiple copies and wasted sP. I had been hoping that this would have at least been acknowledged before the new years tokens were released, but I only tried to do one quest so far, so it's not that bad.

I keep having this error, too, saying purchase failed or just timing out after connecting for several minutes, but then when I go to my inventory there are 3 or 4 of the item I just tried to buy in there. I keep closing out of the "connecting" tabs thinking they'll NEVER go through, but then apparently they do and I'm out tons of sP for nothing. Super annoying.

I think what's really making me so frustrated with this issue is that it's just so unpredictable. It showed up for three quests back-to-back, then nothing for another five, only to show up once again.

Same here. And then I'll do a hard refresh and see multiple copies of the item in my inventory. I've stopped questing for now.

What gets me is that they had a news post saying they were waiting till the site is more stable to release the new years shop. Well, this thread is proof that, hey, maybe a quest based event wasn't the best idea to release just yet.

They released it anyways -_-

Same here - it's been happening to me all yesterday (01.01). Now I've got a bunch of junk that I have to try to sell and get some of my sP back. Blerg. It happens mostly with user shops, and appears to be random. I could buy one item from a shop no problem, but not be able to buy a different one. I did have trouble a few times with NPC shops, too, and also just starting or finishing quests at all. Shinwa was nearly impossible to complete today (01.02), so I'm going to have to stop questing until the site seems to stabilize, which totally sucks because questing is my favourite thing to do on this site. :-/

Any word on fixing this or the other issues(like Quick Stock and Autopricing) that have been going on since the site came back up?

I'm having the same issue, except it seems like i can buy from certain shops but not others?

Just had this happen again on a 50k item. I can't afford to blow a few 100k trying to get it to work :/

Yeah, no, it didn't resolve any issues. I tested it out with a Wizard quest, and it got a 504 error when purchasing from a user shop, an NPC shop, and when finishing the quest. :-/

Edit: The issue seems to have been fixed for me. I just went through Nori's, Alexander's, Pete's, and the Wizard's quests with no problems. Hooray! Here's hoping it's fixed for everyone else, as well!!
