Well, the initial offer was just flat rejected. They didn't come back with a counter. I hope we haven't insulted them because we didn't really understand how the first offer was supposed to be considered. We thought we should offer what we WANT to pay, not how much it's really worth that way once the inspections are done and the appraisal comes back we could haggle better... but apparently that's not how it works. :P So, we have made another offer, that is more what we feel we "should" pay for it... Hopefully this time the offer will be considered. >_<

This just in (lol): They countered this time... and we decided to go for it for that price! I'm excited and scared. LOL I hope we don't have to pay that much but we are willing to. It's a beautiful home that we can improve on so even if we have to buy it for this new price, that will be okay. :) I thought you guys might like to see it, so here a photo -

Oh , It looks so neat and well cared for, love the colors. Now I know what colors to use when we either paint or change our siding this summer. We already have a new black roof. I pray the deal goes through smoothly and you can move in soon. How Exciting!!!

Thanks! I like the colors the more I look at it. The shutters look black, but they are really a dark navy. If we make this our seriously long term home, I want to get a black metal roof eventually. :D

Hi everyone. I'm super sad to be posting this, but I am leaving Subeta on an extended hiatus. Due to lack of time, interest, real life obligations and general site suckiness lately -recent events really was the last straw -, I'm jumping ship. Perhaps one day I'll return. I'm not self-freezing or any of that. You never know how you will feel in a year or three or five.

Thank you all for all the wonderful memories and friendships. I'm going to miss you guys the most from here.

I have been very busy at work. I have so much end of year stuff to do before I can start the New Year stuff at work. We are on overtime hold, so I can't work overtime to get caught up.

well you did not know hun :-) I am a nurse and i work with The elderly that still live at home. I give them care, meds, etc. I did get a compliment from my boss, she was proud of me for working and kept asking during the day if i was OK. So that is nice.

I am glad to it is gone bit i am not liking The rain. And it is still way to cold,but this weekend will be better. No rain and a wee bit warmer.

I hope the trees will open today... Maybe when i am in bed.. 5:35pm here.

I really know what your talking about now,I worked in a hospital for 23 years,until I went on disability.Even in level 3 weather we were suppose to go in.We had cards to say we worked at a hospital so the cops couldn't stop us for being out in the weather.If we couldn't make it in, they would ask the people already there,if they wanted to stay,until someone could make it in.I was a nursing assistant for about 5 of those years so Believe me I know.My husbands been working in the hospital setting for 35 years,I think it is now. =D he's a buyer.
