Name: Cain Age: ?? Race: Shifter

Shift: Cain's shift form is rare if ever seen at all. Those who see the obsidian dragon rarely live to tell the tale, but it's said that an Obsidian Dragon always precedes him, so the two have been associated as one and the same.

Appearance: Cain is fairly tall, standing six feet, two inches with a fit, yet not overly muscled physique. His entire body from the neck down is covered with black wrappings, on top of which are plates of obsidian steel armor plates, the strongest of light armors. Obsidian steel holds the properties of the most durable steel, but has a smooth, black, glossy surface that resembles blown glass. On his feet he wears shinobi shoes (not Naruto ones, the ones with a split toe). He wears a flat black vest cloak (simply a form-fitted cloak with arm holes) with a form-fitting hood. The cloak reaches just above his ankles. His face is covered with an obsidian steel mask shaped to resemble a hellish version of a human skull. The mask is held on by leather, buckled straps. He wields a thin, obsidian steel blade that is sixteen inches long, not counting the handle (about the length of a drumstick). The blade itself is only a couple inches wide, and straight. The wretched blade is designed primarily as a stabbing weapon, bearing a blood groove three quarters of its length and blood holes near the hilt. It can, however, be used to slash if necessary.

His face is a mystery to all but himself.

Personality: Cain's personality is very systematic, almost mechanical in nature. He was raised as a harbinger of death, so emotions are barely existent, but hat glimmer of passion for his cause is what set him apart from his ex-comrades. For Cain, death is a privilege only to be given to good people. He will not kill some one who is corrupt or evil, seeing their continued physical existence as a form of torture, although he is not afraid to seriously injure said person.

History: Cain was born into a secret society known as the Death Sages. This ancient brotherhood has a reputation for producing the deadliest assassins the world has ever seen, but they are rarely employed due to their nature. They kill without feeling. No remorse, no sadness or joy or anything. They are taught that death is a release into an ultimate state of being one with the universe. They rarely live longer than twenty five before the next generation has to kill them to pass their final test. Only the elder and the head sage are allowed to live longer. Cain went against these teachings. He was so powerful and passionate for death that he killed every new generation sage that tried to kill him. He left the sages, vowing to bring death to the righteous and the good and the powerful. In his mind, this is a noble crusade to bring great people to the ultimate state.

Magic: All of the Death Sages are masters of two types of magic: Dark Style magic for hiding and other things such as shadow copies. They choose a secondary magic style, and he chose earth style: metal. He can manipulate earth, rock, and metal but only for so long. Such drastic magic takes a lot of magicka from anyone.

Weakness: Cain may seem to be an unkillable angel of death, but he is just a man. Although his body is trained beyond what is normally considered human limit, he is flesh and bone and blood. Being of the shadows, Light magic had a tactical advantage against him.

- Amg I totally understand the frustration. My connection drops occasionally during the day. It doesn't help living in the middle of no where on shitty internet to begin with and then I'm the only one using the Wifi and three other people are online as well. Technically on an internet speed of maybe 10 but I get 8. ¬.¬  I keep a little update blurb in the IC on the first post. but if you need a quick run down feel free to ask anyone or myself. [small] 2.9.16 - So - I'm a little worried of things getting too stagnant. I like the idea of 's new character coming in to cause some trouble (at least that is what I am under the assumption of :D !!! ) and thinking we could sculpt something from that. ( Feel free to voice your ideas too since he is your character!) I totally understand that everyone has a life outside of the interwebs - I just want to keep everyone interested. I would like your feedback and input and any kind of idea you all may have to further a plot development. I'll jot down a little timeline to get a general idea of where we are at right now:

† The kingdom remains without the King and Queen since the war that took place several years ago. when they went missing after their search for their children who were either killed or enslaved (eventually too slain) with the exception of one who was seen fleeing the battlefield. Morgäna, the youngest of the royal family has since then returned after the wars under an alias, and has since disowned the family name - unknown to the town of who she really is. ----- Morgäna is technically hiding from this: self-loathing, she does not find herself suitable for the crown. ----- Currently: Morgäna has taken in Orion, a wolf shifter, and Athena () a human woman into her clinic and have provided nourishment and a bed for the night and tended to Orion's wounds. Unknowingly Orion is imprinting on her. On the other hand, Morgäna is contemplating scenarios to send them on their way in fear of being discovered. (And shes a stubborn, brooding woman who thinks monsters are meant to be alone) After tending to Orion's wounds, she has exhausted the majority of her magic-energy and is currently going three days without sleep - and still trying to work.

† The Trislani twins, born to a noble family have returned to Artanis in search for information of the kingdom! They have stumbled upon the Tavern where Lorcan, Leeda, Ravyn and Jason have been talking or eavesdropping of bounties. Asvin is in search of a sell-sword for his sister for protection ( , please correct me if I have missed something or I'm wording this incorrectly ) upon their search, they are interrupted by a mysterious man who has presented himself dangerous but has seemed Azierr worthy of death!
------ Shifters are able to sense other shifters.

Everyone should be getting a sMail from me if you have responded to the roleplay in a couple of days. Once again, I totally get that everyone is busy with work and school so please don't feel harped!! (I just started a second job, and I'm dealing with RL problems which is causing me to be extremely depressed) I'm just being overly paranoid and trying to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

I think I was kind of just waiting for to post with Orion again (I'm not sure it was my turn again), but I think I could write up a lil something to post after work tonight! I am online all night tonight - probably into the early morning til about 3am-4am EST maybe. I'm going to be tinkering with Morgäna's page and fleshing out a concept for a rp site. I'll be checking in here occasionally working on some graphics too.

based on the mention of tubes and swelling I assume there was surgery involved? Correct me if I'm wrong, but in any case (I work in post-op with Ward experience) nothing beats good rest and plenty of fluids ._.; hope your recovery from whatever this is goes well!

Actually, side effects of autoimmune problems and kidney problems, ended up having to do dialysis for a bit until my kidneys started doing their thing again -.-;
