Gifts are showing up under my tree, I could see them piling up over luminaire, but I don't see any of them in my inventory and I didn't get an event. I didn't really understand that news post, so maybe this was answered there, and I apologize if it was. So...what do I do from here? headtiltsadface

There was a glitch when they went to open them Friday and trees cannot be opened as of yet. They are now waiting for programmers to get back from holidays to remedy the situation.

Basically, a really old script (from back when the trees were stockings instead) ran on Friday that caused people to get the presents that were left under their trees, but 2 or 3 times over. Not everyone got it, but those that did are supposed to delete the items. Everyone got 250 CSC and the free gift is currently a 1-week GA medal because of the glitch and the fact that the site was down for several hours.

If you didn't get any events, you're in the clear. You just need to wait for trees to be open and then you'll get your presents.
