My favourite book is probably The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers... It's epic fantasy but also incredibly hilarious and just great if you're into literature and books (and puns) in general.

Kind of a boring answer, but my favourite book will probably always be The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. But if we can include plays (theatre scholar over here), hands down Death of the Salesman by Arthur Miller. Summer of the Seventeeth Doll by Ray Lawler is a close second, though. :')
