I am currently in need of a pet profile for Picturs Picturs I want to complete him before moving on to other pets. He has his story written out already to give you a sense of what he is and his character.
What I want:
Something a little more ambitious! Ideally, I would like the profile to be inside a portable game console, like the 3DS, or Subeta's Gamepet (except with dual screens). This might either require art, or needs free art for a background. Only the bottom screen will be used to put Picturs' information in there. The top will be an image I create of a title screen for his game ouo
More complitated, but not exactly necessary: If there was a possibility to have a button or two be clickable, to change between his story, TC, and his main overview, I would REALLY appreciate that. Will pay for the extra work!
What I need from you:
Information on the background image! If something free can't be found, I'm willing to draw it up in Subeta's Gamepet item except with a dual screen. In this case, I'll need to know what dimensions I need for the overall image and what side the screens (text boxes) should be!
Prices! I would really like an estimate beforehand so that you get exactly what you should!
Possible sketches/layout templates! If you already have an idea on how this should look like, please sMail or post them!

Damn me for just having filled my slots. x) (Although I haven't actually received any forms yet) This is totally the kind of profile I would probably have fun tinkering with.
I did this one earlier this year which I assume is similar to what you're looking for. Although I don't know how much harder the 3ds is to create from scratch.
As far as the 3ds goes you'd probably want it to be fully open like this to easily fit the content on the lower screen.
Aaaa you know exactly what I want ;u; I guess I'll be stalking you for an opening then? :P I'll still need some info such as the screen areas so I can do I title screen for the top screen, but that can come later ^_^
You might not need to stalk. I still haven't heard back from my slotted people so I'm looking into options for this. ^^
I'm not sure what you prefer for the 3ds. A photo or a "drawing" (like the pokedex profile I linked)? The drawing has the advantage that you can make it whatever size you want, whereas it might be difficult to find an image big enough to use and in the correct angle.
I did this rough mockup of what size I think might work. I usually do profiles on a 1000x600 pixels canvas so I fit it inside that. Although a bit bigger could work too, if you think the bottom screen for the textbox is too small.
As far as pricing goes I'm sure we could figure something out. My usual prices are here, but if I am to make the 3ds from scratch in photoshop it might be a bit more expensive since it's more work. But yeah, as I said, we can figure something out.
I was going to do my own art, but after seeing dat 3DS I think I'll be willing to pay more for your work! o: I would like the lower screen to be able to fit the 200 x 200 pet image without it getting cut off o: I'm not sure how big the one you made is. If anything, it could maybe be expanded to like 1100x660?
Let me know what happens to those slotted people ^_^ I'm getting very excited about this! (Also, do you have a background image planned for behind the 3DS? o: It doesn't have to be anything fancy!)
You can totally draw it yourself if you prefer that. I just made that because I take any excuse to play with shapes in photoshop and just run with it. xD
That's a great size reference. I'll be making it a bit bigger then. But it's nearly there, like 195px in height or something.
I did receive a form this morning, but it doesn't mean I can't tinker with this on the side.
As far as the background image goes I was thinking maybe some simple pixel pattern? In light of it being a console game. I'll probably have to read the story on Picturs page to see if there's something specific I think would match him.

Started on the lower half. Obviously still need to re-add all the bits and pieces on the top half but I wanted to take a shot at all the required layer styles.
It looks fantastic so far ^_^ I'm very happy with the progress! Would you mind letting me know the area of the top screen? I'll get to work making a title screen c:

For sure. I'll be sleeping the next many, many hours. And progress will be less exciting from now on. It's going to be a lot of copy+paste og layer styles, and then tweaking them so highlights and shadows match up.

I finally got everything added, save a few minor indentations I figured I'd skip. Obviously still need to go over the layer styles, shadows and highlights are all over the place right now.
It looks fantastic! 8D I'm not done the title screen yet though. I've been feeling sick since Monday so it's been taking a little longer than expected :c

There's no rush. :) Technically the easiest thing to do would be to add it with coding. Meaning you can add the image itself whenever you have it finished.

finished the 3ds and kind of... did a thing. Obviously we don't have to use the crab attack pattern. I was just coming up short with my other pattern ideas, re-read the story and as soon as I saw the word crab my mind just clicked. xD
Basically all I need before coding now (other than possibly find a pattern) is to know what you want me to do about the clickable sections. My suggestion would be to use the start and select button for story and tc (change the words of course, so people know what they're clicking) and add a third button on either the left or right side for pet info.

For the background, I wouldn't mind something forest/jungle-y since that's where his story takes place? :P As for the buttons, I wish I didn't have to rename them all. If it's possible I'd love for the "start" to be his info, the "select" to be his virtual inventory AKA TC, and a third underneath that's basically a ? for his story. IDK I kinda want it to feel like an actual console you hold :B
If it needs to be changed, then "start" can still stay there, "inventory" could be select, and "story" can be the third button.
ALSO, TRACING WORDS IS VERY BORING :c Suddenly I'm not as motivated to finish the title screen lol. drags herself off to finish
A jungle theme was definitely one of my ideas, I just hadn't found the right pattern yet.
Okay how about this then: Start is story, select is treasure and then that little home thingy at the bottom (I have no clue if it's an actual button, but I think it is) will lead to the pet info. It makes sense that it is home, since the pet info tab will be the one people see first when they go to the pet profile.
Aww, tracing can get boring after a while. I'm really curious to see this much talked off title screen though. :o

crap! you also want the minion to show, right? i completely forgot about that. i wonder if i can squish it into the pet info tab...
It's basically a word title, but it's going to have bouncing animation to it ^_^
I actually really like this one (it's basically your first link just this particular colour)
And yes, I would like the minion to show, but I don't care if the minion and pet spotlight are below his image ^_^

I lowered the opacity on the pattern a bit because it was really bright. This is full opacity. If you want it at that or somewhere in between I can do that. :)
