Sorry, I freaked out and posted fast from my phone 'cause I was legit /just/ about to close my eyes for sleeps. I just wanna say, I never held any ill feelings towards you [or any releaser for that matter!] for what they've chosen to do with their batches/etc. Even though there are a few lovelies I'd def want to have in my closet, I hold out hope that maybe someday, who knows! I'm never gonna be down on someone just 'cause I couldn't be around at the time - that's the elitist!
Anyway, seriously though, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, and thank you for all the wonderful, beautiful milkshakes! I really hope the second batch will help ease some of the stress off of you. Please remember to take care of yourself. <3
Art by ~ Sig by ~BRINGING MILKSHAKES TO YO YARD in approximately1weeksincethatshowlongapprovaltakes is dirt poor too omg I'm relatable
I've been feeling the exact same way, and I've been trying to explain to a lot of people who have been...rather harsh with us releasers that there is a balance between how popular an item is viewed to be and how many batches of them should exist. End of the day, it is the releaser's call, and no one can really say anything about it since it is our money that was spent in the first place. Of course, every other person I reply to with this reasoning is adamant on not listening and overlooks my entire reply to find some other SINGULAR thing to nitpick at. It's frustrating, but the last and worst thing we can do is to get angry, since that won't get us anywhere.

Thank you <3 Was so nervous about posting my thoughts cause I've never been one for 'public confessions' haha I WANNA LOOK CHILL ALL THE TIME YO. I'm relieved you feel that way! snuggles Have a good rest! ^^
I've been following all the threads and I have to say I really respect how patient you are being with explaining and advocating our point of view T_T And also for creating the submitting CWs FAQ. Thank you for doing that <3 I think there's a lot of factors in releasing CWs and we all have our own reasons for doing it our way. Sometimes it honestly sounds to me like the people against us and criticizing us seem to be mad that highly popular CWs are... hard to get and have few batches. These are things that make them popular CWs and to be honest it's not like our chances as CW releasers/buyers/'elitists' are any better at obtaining them haha. Those very popular CWs will never be found in the pawn shop anyway so it's a moot point... Anyway not really mad, just pretty disheartened by the backlash we all are getting for things that are not in our control as individual sellers :(
I think you guys are all doing your best, a wonderful job! I sometimes just kick myself for missing certain releases and for slotting on too many at once... i can never find a happy medium, but thats all on me as a consumer
Aww thank you for saying that 😭 😭 Part of the pleasure of releasing CWs is having lovely buyers like yourself and everyone on this thread <3
Thank you for the kind words ;A; I've been taking a rest today, since I'm getting a little burned out... is the real MVP...she was roughing it out there for quite a few days before I came in! And definitely--a lot don't seem to understand if everything was made unlimited, no one would buy anything. Also, sometimes having batch limits 3 and beyond already gives people the mindset that it may as well be unlimited. I know there are several other releasers and artist feeling the backlash as well and a lot of the adjustments that need to be addressed is like you said, out of our hands. :c
Thank youuuu~ ❤️ If there were even a handful of people that stopped and really thought about it in a different perspective...but alas, it seems like we're up against a steamroller with broken brakes. x.x

I assume I'm... way too late to slot? 8') if not I'd love one though >:O

Ahh of course! I read through the thread and it already burns me out T_T
Omg yes Pika is doing such an amazing job doing what is pretty much this:

I was like OMG AMAZING and she has the patient of a bloody saint seriously :o Ah yes exactly :( It's just that stuff that is more than 1, maybe 2 batches tops fill slower. To be told that the reason people weren't buying CWs is because we were unwelcoming is... pretty hurtful T_T
Slotted both of you! Thank you <3
OMG. 100% ACCURACY. Oh yeah, when I hear that we're unwelcoming...ouch.

RIGHT? GREAT IMAGE A+++ Yup u_u and it's just like 'sorry you feel that way in the forums, but it's not our job to come door to door to sell our stuff...'
Right?? I mean, who in their right minds would want that??

Haha yeah it seems like we releasers and artists are being stuck between a rock and a hard place T_T Just hope this drama blows over soon.
slot-o please
on an unrelated note, i tink its the first time it rained in a week or two ;__;
the drama has been fully overblown like to non-existent proportions. =___= /big mumble grumble sounds /
if there are slots left for the wig I'd love one, please
As for your rant, I admit I'm not the most qualified person to have an educated opinion here because I'm still new to the world of slotted CWs (and the social aspects of the site in general) rather than just buying select CWs direct from the shops (and being a bit of a lurking hermit).
But from what I have spoken with CW releasers, they have been nothing but polite (not to mention very patient and helpful with some really, really, really stupid newbie questions I've asked). It seems more than fair to me for you to do whatever you want with your items. I mean, for many releasers, just buying the CW designs costs way more money than what I pay for a single slot, or even if releasers draw the art themselves, that takes time and effort too. Wanting to get as many slots as possible filled to cover at least the price of submitting the item to the site seems perfectly reasonable. Or even if releasers want to limit their CW for themselves and their best friend and pet dog only or something, that's 100% their call, not mine. Does that mean that I'm maybe not going to get every single item I like? Sure. Is that really a problem? No.
At the end of the day, I'm just glad that there are people designing and releasing CW items so that the rest of us can buy them, so thank you.
I'll grab a slot if there's one left.
Don't stress about all the people complaining, just do you, sweetie, everyone else can jump c:
Are there slots on that beautiful monster milkshake left? I'd love one if so!! ><
