It's working on profiles, don't know about forum posts, but the names and messages of blocked users are still displaying in the Shoutbox. Any word when this might be fixed?

It's happening for me, too. It's been about 6 days since the SB was fixed, but blocked people can still see blocked people. Whether the blocking is mutual or not, we still shouldn't be able to see this.

you can't see blocked people's posts. I tried and nothing :)

I thought you were working on this any updates? This can be really stressful when certain blocked people come in and I have to leave the sb because they are starting right up why I blocked them in the first place.

I have to agree with Bathory, I'm already dealing with a fairly demanding college course, and seeing certain users that have verbally attacked me in the past for no reason isn't exactly helping with the stress. I realize that I can just ignore them or close the shoutbox entirely, but his is an issue that simply shouldn't exist.

Seconding that its still happening.

On one tab that's been sitting a while I can see a user I know I have blocked. I opened an in-site link from that page in a new tab and the person is no longer visible.

If its any help I'm running FireFox 41.0.2 (and apparently will be running a newer version tomorrow e.e started downloading an update) on Windows XP.

still happening and I'm on the newest version of Chrome. I even tried reinstalling it to see if it would fix things but nothing.

Edit: It's still going on and I said something to someone I didn't know I had blocked (and vice-versa) and I don't want to get into trouble for talking to people in the SB that I have blocked and who have blocked me! :( :/ I just said something to someone completely forgetting we had each other mutually blocked and I'm worried about getting into issues from staff because of it! :/

its still happening and its being weird about it too because if you refresh they disappear till they talk again.

If you refresh the page, you don't see their posts but once they post again it shows up. :/

please fix! :/ It's gotten so bad that I've actually had to put my block list in my notepad widget so that I can cross-ref XS

1. Why do people get a notification when someone blocks them? Is there any real need? REALLY?

2. Why, when someone blocks someone, can the blocked party still see their Shoutbox/Forum posts? It's all fine and dandy for the Blocker to be blind to anything the Blockee is posting, but I really can't be arsed seeing the Blockers posts. Why should I need to block them in return?

3. If X blocks Y, X&Y should then be invisible to each other, like every other website.

Not implementing this, and both parties being able to see one or the others posts, and giving them a notification when they are blocked, is causing an absolute shit storm.
