The gold on the wings should be more speckled and could you make the body grey a tad darker? c:

Also I can totally see how the white can be problematic orz

I can definitely make the grey darker. Do you like where the black to white ends underneath the head ploof? Or would you prefer the black to grey stop right at the line and let the rest be white? I ask because these can be changed when I work to make the grey darker.

Perhaps I'll mess with the opacity or try an off-white and see if that helps solidify the lines some more. Also, the pic is about 25x25 bigger than its supposed to be so maybe that's part of it too.

I wasn't really looking for a pattern in the wings more like some feathers are golden? I'm looking for something more like this, the ref I gave you was accurate in the spotty look. I don't really want the belly color to end abruptly so the transition is fine like it is now. Are you using the fullsize (600x600) version for the overlay or the small 200x200 size?

Oh! Okay, I get it now. The pattern is just what I think of when I read speckled. This is why I ask! :D

I've been using the 600x600, but uploaded in 200x200 (which was accidentally left 225x225) b/c space. I have both available.

I really think it has to do with the pure white I used to overlay on top. You can tell by the fuller lines towards the feet. Again, I'll mess with it some more and find a way to make them smoother. c:

That could be. I tried turning an overlay I made to white and it was really hard but ir looks like this. It's not perfect but you're definitely free to use it if you like c:

I hope this is way better example of my work and that I didn't butch it. T^T I put the spots exactly where you had them in your ref. I was up pretty late on that first draft and didn't realize all the errors I made so I hope this is way better!

Ah, the one with the dots on the purple was actually only to show you that it's supposed to be random gold feather parts not like something that looks good because it's not supposed to look like a round brush put somewhere on the feathers but more like feather parts that are golden.. So more like this or this where the colors follow the hairs or whatever you call those things on the feathers..

But I feel really bad for all these extra wishes so it's totally okay the way it is now.. I don't want to cause you a massive workload for free orz
